Blooming Lotus Gourmet Bakery

Went to this bakery for the first time today and was extremely impressed. They had a variety of delicious looking treats and everything they offer is vegan, grain-free, refined sugar-free, soy-free, and peanut-free. I had the apricot scone which was SO GOOD! The staff was super friendly and had a list of ingredients ready incase you were curious about it. They let me use my own containers for the treats to reduce package waste. I will definitely be going here again!

The Blooming Lotus had a wide array of baked goods. There were essentials such as bread, pizza crusts and muffins and some sweet treats such as cookies, scones, and squares. Everything we had was excellent. The pizza crust was the best vegan pizza crust we have tasted. The owner was really nice and threw in an extra scone for free!

Everything I've had here has been delicious- scones, cookies (I especially love the cashew butter, perfectly chewy), biscotti, cupcakes, and an amazing nut-butter bar with chocolate topping. They also brew rishi iced tea, which is delicious to enjoy with the baked goods. I haven't tried any of the savory rolls or breads yet but they look wonderful. And I'm already planning to order one of their beautiful cakes for my birthday! This is an awesome addition to the vegan dining scene in Milwaukee.

Blooming Lotus gets it right. Whether you have diet restrictions or not, give this place a try. Delectable cookies, muffins, scones, cupcakes. Nothing short of delicious. I've always been an advocate of places that promote healthier options and breaking the notion that there is any sacrifice for taste.
