Amazing muffin! - Edit

I had really tasty muffin at Bloomer's (peach crumbles), maybe one of the best I had so far! Really recommend to go just for the muffin. The coffee is good too. The sandwich I got (I think it was pulled pork) was tasty but it had a bit oily after taste. Another good thing is that if you have work to do you can sit there with your laptop with no problem.

Pros: Place to study

Favourite Lunch Spot - Edit

We're regulars at Bloomer's, we love their food as well as their sweets. The food is fairly priced, maybe a touch more expensive than average, but it's all very filling and enjoyable.

My go-to is their egg-salad sandwich, followed by the Ruben which seems to be a local favourite. My partner is big on their Wakami[sic] bowl.

Pros: Big portions, Serve beer, WiFi

Cons: A touch pricey for sandwiches and bowls, Staff's helpful but a little cold

Delicious!! - Edit

Lovely all vegan bakery!! I ordered a tofu club sandwich (service was slow, took about 45 mins) - but it was delicious. My chai latte lacked flavour. I tried two doughnuts - chocolate dipped & cookie one.... both were incredible!! I also ordered a tempeh reuben sandwich to go for my flight home later that day, which was also delicious. Nice space, very busy, but would recommend!

Pros: All vegan!

Cons: Slow service

amazing vegan donuts! - Edit

Walking in and seeing a huge selection of vegan donuts, cookies, muffins, cakes and a menu for meals too was fantastic! My partner and I recently moved back to the city and will be new regulars here.
We tried the donut and blueberry muffin so far and both were great sweet treats.

Good Lunch - Edit

My sister and I fell in love with their egg salad sandwich - their bread is amaazing !
But it seems like they changed the recipe this year and added ?pickles? In the mix. It Is still very good.
We also had other kind of sandwhich and we're never disappointed.
Their Cesar salad isn't creamy if that's what you're looking for. Their Poutine is good.
The only disappointment is their service - it's either a hit or a miss.
I would recommend the place for lunch!

I LOVE Bloomer's. - Edit

I've never had anything from Bloomer's that I didn't enjoy. My favorite menu items are the pulled jackfruit sandwich, tempeh reuben, and BBQ tempeh wing sandwich. The 'other' bowl is delicious, and the couple soups I've had were great too.

Their desserts are amazing too; my favorite is probably the peanut butter dark chocolate stout cookie. Yum!

Pros: delicious food, great desserts, all vegan

Cons: not many healthy options, wi-fi limited to 2 hours per person

Desserts galore! - Edit

We were in Toronto for 2 days and had to try this place for desserts, since it was top rated in Happy Cow. We weren't disappointed! We got a wild blueberry muffin and the carrot cake -- both really delicious (although I found the carrot cake icing a bit too sweet, but my husband says it was perfect). Highly recommend to satisfy a sweet tooth, and knowing everything served is vegan takes the pressure off of inquiring. Will definitely go back when in town again.

Pros: Lots of choices, reasonably priced

Omg the carrot cake - Edit

Definitely a favourite spot of mine to stop in for a bite to eat...but more specifically to eat their AMAZING carrot cake. Their vegan Mac n cheese is pretty great too. Can't wait to try more.

A Wonderful Cafe - Edit

I spent a few weeks in Toronto visiting friends and family. Bloomer's was my mini office for that time, where I did all my work. They have a wicked selection of baked goods, with specific reference to their donuts. SO GOOD. They also have a bunch of gluten-free items, too.
I tried their dinner menu once, and while it wasn't out of this world it was a solid offering. Definitely stop in for some dessert, though!

Pros: Great desserts (donuts), Awesome staff, Free wifi

Cons: Small location, 2 hour limit on wifi

Love this place - Edit

I wasn't sure what to expect from a bakery-turned-restaurant but I thought it was fabulous. Quite a few tables with board games for those who want to stay for a while. Lots of drinks with good beer. Of course, delicious vegan baked goods and a good-sized menu with sandwiches, grain bowls and salads. The BBQ tempeh sandwich was great as well as the tempeh reuben. Generous sized portions even without sides (sides not included). Priced nicely for such a huge vegan sandwich.

How could this be better? I kind of wish I could drink some fruity smoothies. Although, in retrospect, I may not have had room for dessert. Had the peach-blueberry pie and it was very good. The donuts are also of monster size.

Pros: good value, great sandwiches, delicious food
