Bloom Sushi

Wow. Everything was amazing, and that’s coming from someone who’s not very fond of sushi. I loved everything here. My favorite was the Moulin Rouge (the spring roll sushi).

Was good, but expected more

I would give 5 stars if the sushi had more intense flavours and better combined textures in order to leave more memorable flavours.

Pros: Menu with variety of options, Very good and kind service

Excellent

My husband and I booked there for a treat on our visit to Paris. Hands down this was the best food we had during our stay.

We loved the Nasu Miso Flambée and the Crunchy Zalmon hosomaki.

The restaurant has a lovely chilled out vibe, without being pretentious. The service is excellent - the people were very patient with our broken French language skills.

Bloomin' brilliant

Bloom restaurant was quite out the way from where we were staying but we decided that it was worth checking out so we made sure to plan our day around our dinner reservation at Bloom. We were so glad that we made the effort to come here because the food was just incredible! It is by far the best vegan sushi that we have had - the menu is exciting, creative and full of flavour. We order multiple sushi rolls and all tasted great but the stand out dish was the katsu curry sushi which was lightly deep fried and paired with a mild curry sauce. It was divine! We've been to multiple restaurants before that specialises in vegan sushi but none compare to Bloom. We would definitely come back again!

Perfect!

Especially loved the MrCrunchy, Dragon Eye and Arancini au shiitake.
The Filling of the Philadelphia was more of a feta style cheeze than a cream cheeze but still very delicious.
Definitely a special experience and very recommendable!

Pros: Variety, Fusion

Sympa !

J'aime bien tous les sushis et salades proposés par ce restaurant. Je reviens toujours pour les plats avec des champignons et chaque fois je suis jamais déçue. Il faut essayer en visitant Paris !

First solo meal out

I had a lovely meal at bloom with an assortment of dishes. This included the gyoza, green tea, miso soup and pesto sushi rolls. Finished off with a mochi.
Portions (except dessert) were a good size - I wish there were two mochi for dessert and not just one! $6 is a lot to pay for one.
Everything was good - I loved the pesto flavour on the sushi.

Only criticism is the green tea didn’t infuse well so perhaps a loose leaf tea or another brand is better?

So delicious

Bravo !!!!!

Best vegan food in Paris 🇫🇷

We found this sushi restaurant on the Michelin Guide whilst planning our trip to Paris and figured it would be worth a visit - our presumptions were correct! This was undoubtedly the best meal we had in Paris and potentially the best vegan sushi we have had globally. Everything was so fresh, creative and had a real depth of flavour. We tried the crispy rice which was rich and umami with the truffle sauce and mushroom tartare; the Philadelphia roll with vegan salmon which was the perfect hybrid of Japanese and Mediterranean flavours; the enoki maki which was aesthetically stunning and so fresh; dragon eyes roll and the tempura oyster mushroom maki which was our favourite - the perfect depth of truffle umami and crunchy mushrooms! We also tried the Tokyo mule cocktail which was refreshing and well mixed and one of the many Japanese whiskey’s on offer. The service was impeccable and the restaurant felt very smart and modern. This is definitely a more upscale dining option in the capital but we felt that the prices were reasonable for the quality of food we were served. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to vegan’s looking for an incredible meal in Paris 🥰

Pros: Outstanding vegan sushi , Lots of menu options , Upscale dining experience with great vibes

Cons: Short opening hours for evening service

Best restaurant in Paris

This was truly some of the best food and sushi I have ever had. Literally everything was delicious and a good mix of fake fish and just fantastic use of vegetables. Blown away by how incredible every single thing tasted. The vibe is really classy and the atmosphere wonderful with great staff.

Best vegan gyoza and sushi I ever tried

I went there for diner and took the simple menu : soup or edamame, with 3 gyozas, and a plate of sushi/makis/california
The gyozas were simply incredible
It was the best vegan gyozas/sushi of my life

The best sushi

Unable to decide what to have, we opted for the ‘menu omakase’ - a mix of loads of things! It was (by far) the best sushi I’ve ever had, and if I’m ever back in Paris, this will be the first place I visit!

The best sushi I've ever had!

These sushi were too good to be true. We tried six kinds of maki rolls, plus spring rolls. Every piece was unique in taste and texture, with contemporary twists like pesto, artichoke, truffle and aubergine. A must-visit for sushi-lovers! Longing to revisit this place.

Pros: The sushi was absolutely delicious!, Beautiful, relaxing surroundings , Polite and friendly waitresses

Incredible flavors, best vegan sushi ever!

We were delighted by the diversity of flavors in the four different rolls we got. Each one was different and incredible! We particularly liked the crispy zalmon roll and the curry roll! We will definitely eat here again!

High expectations

My expectations where high.
I came in rather late and it felt like they did not want to serve me anymore.
They ran out of cider and they gave me the bill even before giving me the tea that I payed for but did not got. After asking; All other people got beautiful teapots and I got a white mug.
The sushi was fabulous though and so was the place. Menu is not clear about the mochi. It has 3 on the card but you get just one. The gyoza are store bought

Pros: Good sushi , Nice place

Cons: Lacking service, Unwelcome feeling

An amazing place to eat vegan sushi in Paris

I've been vegan for 9 years now and so used to eat cucumber and avocado sushi.
Thanks to Bloom Sushi I was able to choose between a lot of different dishes and a lot of option.
It's so nice "not to know what to take" in a menu.

Regarding the service : people are really nice and welcoming.
The food : A-MA-ZING! I went there twice (i'm from Lille) with non vegan friends and they all loved it.

The food worth every penny and I plan to go back there when i'll be in Paris next time.

Pros: nice vibe, excellent food, friendly staff

Cons: none.

Divine sushi

The best vegan sushi i’ve ever had. They had a large variety of all sorts of sushi types as well as typical iteams such as edamame. The sushi was presented really nicely and the restaurant looks luxurious. They have a covered outdoor seating area too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. You do need a reservation though otherwise there is a wait.

Pros: Divine sushi , Lots of choice , Nice restaurant space

Don't judge a book by its cover, as this one doesn't deserve such a fancy cover!

Let's start with the positives:
- we didn't hate it
- we were not hungry after eating to the very last crumbs

Now the less positives:
- it lacked in taste and texture, especially compared to how fancy it presents itself
- the quantities were not satisfying, especially compared to the prices
- the ambiance was sterile
- the hosts were not particularly welcoming nor warm
- speaking of warm, the fries and the tea were luke warm
- the menu was not clear enough, no details, only a global mention of allergens (had the surprise to see that my sweet potato fries were actually tempura, so most probably with gluten)(then again, I could have asked, though who'd expect fries to contain gluten?)

Global appreciation: very disapointing, would not return

Pros: edible

Cons: disapointing, lack of clarity in the menu
