I went in expecting great sushis as I heard a lot of good about the food here.
Read moreIt was alright at best. I think the best part of our meal was the gyozas and their sauce. The sushis weren't balanced and overly tasted after one thing. The quantities of one ingredient overpowered all the other tastes (mainly : tempeh, smoke, cream cheese and sun dried tomatoes). It wasn't the worst sushi I had, but definitely not the best sushis, especially for a vegan sushi restaurant.
We had the
- Orenji
Filled to the max with sweet potato fries. It was a bit disapointing to eat sweet potato fries rolled into rice.
- Rock n Roll spicy
The tempeh wasn't marinated and wasn't crunchy. Instead the whole sushi felt very mushy. We never tasted the green apple, the tempeh was overpowering.
- Kimbap
This one tasted mainly after kimchi and was the best in our opinion. Altough it would have been interesting to taste the salted almond or the shiitake.
- Salmon philadelphia
The "salmon"'s texture was great, but we never tasted anything other than cream cheese and the smokiness of the salmon.
- Nasu
This one only tasted like burned vegetables. It was the worst by far.
- Paradise
This one tasted like a green salad with loads of dried tomatoes. We never tasted the yuzu, the shiitake. It was very disapointing.
All in all, it didn't taste bad, we ate everything, it was just very deceiving.

We have the deluxe combo for two. It included miso soup (best miso soup!), gyoza, and the chef choice of 24 assorted sushi. The sushi was all amazing!

Could not have loved this more! Recommend having a reservation, we dropped in and they kindly made room for us at the bar. We weren't starving so chose some rolls a la carte. I wish we had tried the omakase or bigger variety platters because everything was so good.

We ate here during vacation. This was the best plant-based sushi I’ve ever had. The flavor combos were creative and everything we tried was excellent. My favorite was the Émeraude roll which had pesto - sounds strange but so yummy. The brownie for dessert was also delicious. The atmosphere is bright, modern, fresh, and chill. Good service. It’s out in a more residential/less touristy neighborhood but street parking was easy. Worth the trip.

We got the 24 sushi platter and every roll was SO GOOD. We particularly loved the butternut roll and the beet roll. My mouth is still salivating when I think about it. We don’t live anywhere remotely close but hope we can visit again sometime!

Read moreJ'ai pris l'assiette Omakase Deluxe et en suis sortie bien remplie. Vraiment agréable les 3 services qui permettent de goûter à plein de choses. Coup de coeur pour la soupe miso, le crispy rice crab, le saumon philadelphia et le moulin rouge. Le restaurant est aussi très beau!

Great atmosphere, live music across the street was fun. The Miso soup was insanely good, and the sushi was great. For me the fake fish was too realistic and so I didn’t like I but for someone who likes fish it’s great. My boyfriend was really hesitant but he loved it!

Everything I ordered was amazing. The sushi was so good that it didn’t need wasabi, soy sauce, or ginger- every bite was packed full of carefully curated complimentary flavors. I don’t know what the vegan salmon is made from, but the the texture and taste was astounding. Cocktail was great. Service was great. Took home a brownie w/ raspberry sauce to go as well which tasted great and resembled the texture of fudge. 10/10 recommend.

We came to Bloom for dine-in dinner and couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. Great atmosphere, good cocktails, and the FOOD was incredible. We shared multiple vegan sushi rolls and gyoza, and I had the miso soup as well. Can’t recommend this place enough for a visit!
