Breakfast didn't live up to the hype - Edit
I saw some good reviews of this place and I actually partly chose my holiday accomodation to be near this place as they have a reputation for being good for catering for people with dietary requirements. The place is indeed decorated beautiful and that is probably it's strongest asset.
Read moreFrom my experience, the staff could do better. Upon arrival they pointed at a table I could use and didn't even give me a menu. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I got my own menu. After waiting some more, I had to grab a waiter's attention to take my order. I ordered some smashed avo on toast with added mushrooms. The waiter returned a few minutes later saying the avocado wasn't fresh and asked if I wanted to choose something else. There were limited other vegan options, so I begrudgingly agreed to hummus on toast. On the menu this also comes with feta but asked for that to not be included as I don't eat it. When my food came I was surprised by the portion of mushrooms. It cost 145mur (£2.40) for a potion size that sits on a little dish that is usually used for holding ketchup or other sauces! I was also surprised I was charged for them given that it was essentially a substitute for the feta on the meal that I ordered. The overall meal was nothing to shout about. The sourdough toast was hard to cut and hummus was dried out and lacked any flavour. Oh, and weirdly, even though I was told avocado was off the menu, there were a few cubes of it on my plate. So I'm not sure why I couldn't have my original order!
Overall I think the food is expensive for what it is, the vegan breakfast options could be much better and staff should be more welcoming.

Well labeled menu, tasty vegan options - Edit
This place has a great vibe and is a nice spot for lunch or a coffee. They also have a nice gift shop.
Read moreThe menu has clearly labelled vegan options - over 2 visits I tried a couple of the superfood smoothies (chocolate indulgence- too bitter for me, elvis- very thick but nice), the tofu poke bowl (too much vinegar in the dressing for me) and the vegan Buddha bowl - this was very nice.
Good if you’re in a group of picky omnivores as there is a good range of non-vegan options.
The staff are very friendly and helpful - great service overall.

I visited here nearly every day during my stay in Mauritius. - Edit
I visited here almost every day for a month! I loved this place. The venue is great, very spacious and open. The staff are lovely! And the food is very good too. They don't have loads and loads of vegan options but they do have a fair few including a vegan sandwich, avo toast, a budda bowl and some smoothies. They also have oat milk for coffee.
Read moreI highly recommend the ice latte with oat milk and the avo toast.
Pros: Parking available, Very delicious food
Cons: Doesn't have loads of options, Pricey for Mauritius but still good compared to UK

Modern style with vegan options - Edit
Modern styled places with lot of vegan options but it’s more expensive compared to others. Some kind of European tourist place.

Good vegan options - Edit
The restaurant has some vegan option like smoothie bowls or sandwiches. I had the „wild vegan sandwich“, fries and a homemade ice tea. All food were delicious, the service was fast and the restaurant has some charming tables.

Our favourite place for vegan food in Mauritius - Edit
Although not a vegan restaurant, there are some vegan options on the menu. We tried a variety of their vegan dishes and found them exquisitely delicious. Portions are modest and the ambience of the restaurant is charming. We didn’t ever tire of Bloom and would have been there every day had we been able to. The service was first class.
