Breakfast, lunch, and dinner! - Edit
Needless to say, we came here whenever we wanted food during our very short stay in Hamilton.
Read moreEverything was tasty, everything was vegan and the guy working there was super lovely and explained how things worked. You basically pay by weight and can eat in or take it away - it's worth whatever the price! (We did both hohoho)
We had everything on the buffet "menu", the spring rolls were massive and yummy, the noodles were great, loved the sweet and sour dish, loved the ingredients in the dishes - broccoli, carrots, woodear mushrooms etc!
Wished that we had room for cake, they looked delightful.
It's a bright little place, feels clean, happy and well, the food is delicious! Don't miss it!
P.s get the radish cake :D

Great buffet casual dining.... - Edit
We enjoyed our meals here. Paying by weight is fair at a buffet & we thought their prices were very reasonable.
Read moreA good selection of vege, noodles, rice, tofu & tempeh options along with spring rolls & patties. Asian based cuisine - everything I tried (which was most dishes!) was great.
Very friendly staff. A basic cafe but clean and tidy...go when you're hungry...it all tastes good!
Pros: Plenty of options. Friendly staff., Very reasonable prices.

Great Buffet - Edit
Good selection of vegan food. There were plenty of choices with lots of seasonal vegetables. Tasty and not overcooked. I avoided the oily dishes and those containing soy protein but others in the group had them and liked them.

Fabulous Vegan Buffet - Edit
Fully vegan buffet with close to 20 choices. You can sample as many dishes as you like as it is sold by weight. My dinner equated to about $6 (US); another person in our party with a much bigger appetite had his dinner come to about $9 (US). A huge plus for me is the fact that they don't use any onions or garlic as I am sensitive to alliums, with no sacrifice of flavor. Unlike many vegan restaurants in New Zealand, this one stays open late enough that tourists can actually eat dinner without cutting their holiday activities short just to make it to a restaurant before they close. Even if you're not vegan, come here for the eight flavors of incredibly creamy cashew cheesecake. The mango cheesecake is to die for!

Delicious selection! - Edit
This buffet was exactly what we were looking for after a long day in the caves. There is a large selection of vegan Chinese food with clearly marked GF options. It's pay-by-weight but reasonably priced even when hungry ($18 for two hungry hippos).

Meh - Edit
I would like to say wonderful things about this place but I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the dishes despite that the staff were friendly and helpful. It was just kinda gross to me and I usually like the mock meat vegan stuff. Way to oily and just bland. At least it wasn't super expensive.

Amazing food - Edit
Went there for lunch recently - was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it if you are in Hamilton NZ. Food was hot and yummy, and there is a lot of choices. Definitely save room for the vegan blueberry cheesecake as it is delicious.

We need vegan takeaways! - Edit
That's a place run I believe by the people from the Vegan Buffet, i.e. the same yummy vegan goodies, but at much later hours to enjoy wherever you take it. I heaped 2 large containers with everything from various "meats" to nice big spring rolls and potato stews, plus 2 pottles of sauces to pour on, and it served as a dinner and very nice breakfast the morning after. It's open I think from late afternoon till 8pm (make sure you call just in case before popping in - I was there just before 8, and the place was shut, so the guy has opened it for me - I understand it's NZ, and no huge crowds of vegans yet; hopefully, that will change).
