Amazing

Such a cute set up. Price tag is a bit up there, but the food was so tasty! Had the coffee banana smoothie bowl, nachos and bbq protein burger. The nachos were by far my favourite, the beans were flavoured with some great spices. The customer service was also really good! Would go back!

Pros: Vegan food heaven, Customer service, Cute set up

Amazing food but a little pricey

Visited here and got the Macho Nachos which were $20, which seemed like a pretty massive price to pay for a plate of nachos. They arrived to the table and were beautifully presented and also tasted amazing. The staff are all extremely friendly and pleasant to chat to. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great feed, I just wish the prices were a little more affordable so I could make it somewhere I return to frequently.

Really nice little place with comfy seating and good atmosphere. Plenty of vegan options, all of which are very fresh and healthy.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Not the best location- near busy traffic.

Epic Burgers and Bowls.

Went here for lunch and had the BBQ ranch burger with sweat potato fries, it was delicious and filling. I then opted for the purple protein smoothie bowl, which was probably one of the tastiest smoothie bowls I have ever had in my life. The staff were so lovely and friendly would definitely recommended coming here for breakfast or lunch!

Pros: Epic Vegan Burgers, The tastiest smoothie bowls, Lovely friendly staff

Amazing vegan food

Breakfast at Blendlove was an amazing culinary experience.

I had the highly recommended corn fritters, with a side of mushroom and tomatoes. I actually didn’t need the sides because the corn fritters with veggies and sprouts is really enough.

My partner had the vegan French toast with fruit and flowers.

The location is easy to find, but sitting outside means you are facing a busy road breathing exhaust fumes. But easy to put up with for the lovely food.

Pros: Gourmet vegan beautifully presented , Friendly staff, Varied menu

Cons: Faces a busy road

Incredible

We are visiting from Melbourne and wish we had this place at home. the vegan eggz Benny and the corn fritters we're amazing and the smoothies we're fantastic too, they let us add a shot of coffee to our smoothie flavour of choice for 50c

Can't rave about this place enough, great vibe, great food. Only real con is they seem to do dairy for coffees but are otherwise vegan.

Pros: delicious vegan foos, great brunch vibes

Cons: serves dairy

One of my Favourites!

Blendlove's smoothies are on another level! I'm trying to make my way through their flavours but I keep getting the same ones because they're so good!

I also love their breakfast menu as well! So many good options from sweet to savoury. And if you're on the run they have quick take-away options in the case which are so convenient!

My only downer is the coffee. They used to have the best coffee, in my opinion, on the coast. But now it's so bitter. For reference, I drink mocha's and i'm pretty sure it's the chocolate they use. This however, has not deterred me and I still get a coffee everytime.

Pros: Nice vibe, Amazing staff

Cons: coffee

Best breakfasts

I love blendlove. They do the best vegan breakfasts on the Gold Coast, even better than cardamom pod in my opinion. Good portion sizes, lots of interesting dishes. Try the happy hashies! My favourite! The only negative is that they charge extra for plant based milks even though the only non vegan thing they have is cows milk. Seems weird to me.

Pros: Great food , Entirely vegan menu

Cons: Wish they’d stop using cows milk, Charge extra for soy.

Gone Downhill

After submitting a very positive review last year,we were very disappointed with our return visit yesterday. The coffee was bland and weak despite asking for an extra shot. The burger was small, had only a couple of lightly fried eggplant slices and a small fried mushroom as the "patty".The burger leaked copious fluid and was very poor value for around $20!On the bright side, the pancakes were as tasty as last year.

Pros: Vegan , Gluten Free, Good pancakes

Cons: Inferior small and overpriced burger

The best raw cakes ever!!

As a rule, I now steer clear of all raw cakes as I know they wont compare to Blendlove! I don't know how they do it, but the raw cakes are heavenly! I love the turkish delight, ferero rocher and white choc raspberry

Almost full marks

I went here today with a friend for lunch.

Blendlove is located in a small shopping centre on the left hand side of Ferry Road, going into Southport. There's a reasonable amount of parking available for a small centre, and i had no problem finding a spot - although if it got really busy it could be tough.

Blendlove outlines its concern for health and the environment on its site, but misses the main point of veganism, which is animal use. So while all the food is vegan (at least on our visit), they still offer cow's milk in drinks (they have plant milk available).

That said, their food was very good and well presented. My friend had the veggie burger, which had various layers and an accompanying salad. It also had a number of distinctive touches, such as a quinoa bun and cashew aioli. Piled high, and held together with a bamboo tie, it looked impressive, but was only practical to eat after being taken apart.

The burger was $17 - so at the higher end - but my friend said he enjoyed it and found it filling - along with the black coffee he also had.

I had the berry-licious pancakes ($16), which were very good. They weren't your run-of-the-mill pancakes: light, springy, and well complemented by cashew yoghurt, strawberries, caramelised bananas, blueberry sauce, some hazelnuts and a few small edible flowers.

Both our dishes, which we ate there, came served in open cardboard containers. Despite some initial surprise, these turned out to have merit. They were a clever alternative to dishes (and the washing up that goes with them).

The volume of the music inside seems to have toned down from earlier reviews, although is higher than background music. The space is nice and open, and even though the outdoor area we sat in faces out onto Ferry Road, it's far enough away to not be annoying. Unfortunately, the day we were there, there was some work going on by the road that created more noise than usual - something i wouldn't expect on a routine basis.

All in all, a real plus for fresh, tasty, interesting vegan food.

A minus that Blendlove doesn't get the reason behind veganism and still serves cow's milk. One 'star' off for that - otherwise 5 stars.

Pros: fresh, interesting food, friendly staff, off road parking

Cons: not vegan, not vegan, not major, but fronts Ferry Road

coffee and cake

was very busy when I visited so coffee took some time to arrive. price for coffee and a vegan cake seemed comparable to other cafes. there was a big range of vegan cakes, the one I tried was rich and luxurious. food presentation was notable. the music is loud inside but I was outside on the carpark side so conversation was possible. well behaved dogs on leads OK in outside area.

Pros: lots vegan cheese cake style options

Cons: pick your time as this cafe appears to be often bu

Okay experience

This was overall a very average dining experience. The location is on a busy road, so the outdoor eating area is noisy, but the indoor area was no better as they had music playing very loudly. Too loudly for 7.30am, and too loud to have a conversation.
The meals we had were very basic and somewhat over-priced for what they were. I couldn't tell what the coffee was like, because there was no regular sugar available- only the dark coconut sweetener that has a strong flavour of its own. I couldn't drink my coffee as a result. Why not have white sugar available also? It is far cheaper, and doesn't distort the flavour of the coffee.
I travelled some distance to try this cafe, and I can't say that I would do so again.

Pros: Vegan, Open early

Cons: Noisy- traffic noise and loud music, The coffee is ruined by their sugar , The food is overpriced for what it is.

Hello. I just wanted to let you (and others reading) know that processed white sugar is hardly ever vegan - it's processed using bone char. I'd been vegan for some time before finding this out.

Mica2020

Sugar isn't processed using bone char in Australia, and hasn't been for a decade.
