Awful! - Edit
After 70 minutes of waiting (post order), we had to ask for money back and leave.
Read moreNo toilets. Staff shut down early. Something may have been going on - no chef and others pretending or something, but confirmation of a problem could have been communicated to us and wasn’t, in any way.
Treated with contempt we felt, rather than as a customer.
I have posted the current menus. You will see a lot of the previously advertised stuff has disappeared. Now one vegan option. Everything else has disappeared
We drive 100km out if our way for this place and it was a car crash from start to finish. So annoyed.
We ended up so frustrated, and then that bad energy filtered into the rest of our day

One vegan option - Edit
Went here based on the reviews of them being very vegan-aware and thought I better add a update as it is no longer the case. They did have a veggie burger which was made vegan (removed cheese and condiments) and was really nice, but other than that and alt milks for coffee, there were no other vegan options. I did explicitly ask to confirm, so perhaps new ownership or management? Still a lovely little cafe, just not the vegan dream it appears to be on HC.

Cute store - Edit
Only had time to grab a vegan veggie & curry pie and a vegan blueberry & apple pie/tart. The sweet option was really yummy, the savoury pie was good. Their full menu looked really good, would try it out if I was back in town.

Surprising vegan eats - Edit
They did offer a vegan curry pie and vegan lentil pie and vegan mylks for coffees and teas and shakes and also a vegan panini. Vegan items are clearly labelled and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about vegan enquiries and the menu.

Pros: Surprising vegan options for the area, Yummy pie options and mylkshakes
Cons: Could push for a more traditional pie flavour, Maybe a vegan sandwich would be ideal

What a wonderful place - Edit
Coming from Sydney I wasn’t expecting to find any vegan options in this little place, let alone a whole menu for vegan / vego options. And heaps of gluten free aswell. The people working here are absolutely wonderful! And super accomodating. The cafe is so cute and quirky. Loved it!
