Blackbird Vegan Kok Och Bar

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Sweden! The food is pretty cheap, and the place is really cozy. We came on a Friday night and waited 5 minutes to get a table. For starters we had the Sweet potato fries and chili cheese tops, everything homemade and not greasy at all. As main course I had the Seitanschnitzel with potatoes, tasted better than the "real deal". Would definitely come back!

I was here for a couple of weeks ago for a friends birthday. While it may not the fanciest of food joints, so was the food pretty good and the staff felt genuine and friendly.

This is a nice place that need a little bit more healthy options. The first time I was there two out of three maindishes were deep fired. The food was pretty bland with deepfried cheese with deepfried potatoes and some grated raw beetroot. Staff was friendly, the place was packed, on a tuesday.

Then I gave it a second chance a fem months later and was Happy with My smoked tofu and broccoli pie! Also we ordered tofu ribs with potatoe sallad wich Aldo was awesome! So I Highly recomend black bird!

Blackbird is my favorite restaurant ever. The food is always beyond excellent and reasonably priced. Menu changes from time to time and it's always both innovative, genuine and genius.

Me and my company (both non-vegans) had chocolate truffles and a passion-fruit meringue tart and we were blown away by the awesomeness of their tasty food. The tart crust was probably the best short pastry I came across in my whole life. The toppings of the truffles were smartly chosen and fitted the taste of the chocolate very well without drowning out the cocoa. We only had dessert so I can't make any remarks about the savory dishes they serve, though the plates for our fellow guests looked wonderful.

I went here based on the Happy Cow reviews and I was not disappointed. The menu is in Swedish, but my server explained all the options to me in detail. I ordered the fried tofu and bok choy. It was the best dish on my Scandinavian trip so far. It was very tasty with a bit of a kick. I had a wonderful vegan cheesecake for dessert. The alcohol offerings were slightly limited since they want to ensure that they're vegan. My server was extremely friendly and my orders came out very quickly. As far as prices are concerned, they were cheap for Sweden, but comparable to the US.

Nice pub with all vegan food. Everything made from scratch. Must try is the chilicheeze and burger!

I finally made it to Blackbird, and I was not disappointed. It is a bit of an alternative atmosphere, so it wont be for everyone. That being said, the staff were great and the food was really good. It's a bar, so don't expect the healthiest options.

It's only open in the evenings, which means it's always quite packed. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the city!

Eating at Blackbird is an amazing experience. The food is so delicious and well made, the small place with lit candles and friendly staff is the perfect cosy place - whether you go on a date, with friends, with colleagues or by yourself. I love how the menu is set and that the price is very affordable, especially for such great food. Thumbs up!

If you want good vegan food in Gothenburg, this is the place. Everything is made from scratch. Rotating menu, so if you frequent there you will most likely find something new. Great atmosphere and music turned low. Good prices. Friendly staff. I could go on forever...
If you want to be sure to get a seating (half of the tables are drop-in, other half is for booking) it's good to book beforehand since it can get quite crowded the first couple of hours.

Were there for the first time yesterday. We booked the last table available :-) We chose 2 of the 4 maincourses. Amazing good well seasoned food. I was disturbed by the music but then Me and my husband were the oldest in there. Might be a generation thing. Looking forward to go back and try the other dishes.

Awesome new vegan bar and restaurant in Gothenburg. The owners are super conscious about all their products and check thoroughly that the process is vegan before buying. Punk atmosphere and really nice place!
