Serves meat, vegan options available. Serves several hot and cold sandwiches and a veggie burger which are labelled as vegan on request. Open Mon-Sat 7:00am-10:00pm, Sun 7:00am-6:00pm.
Blackbird used to be open until 10 p.m. which made this place special. It was a great place to hang out at night and get work done or study. Now that they close at 7pm, it's just an above average coffee shop. Better than going to Starbucks.
This café has good latés and usually, but not always, has a homemade vegan soup.
Soy, almond and oat milk.
Highly recommend the Goddess Salad if they have it on special. Their vegan peanut butter cookie is good. Every day they have vegan morning glory muffins which are super filling.
They have a vegan BLT, veggie sandwich and veggie burger sandwich. Honestly i find their food items are just ok. Nothing wrong with them but not gourmet. In other words, I come for the coffee and the study vibe and if you're hungry there's something to eat.
If you're vegetarian, they have all kinds of homemade pies and baked goods (which are sometimes vegan), smoothies, quiches and a ton of egg and cheese items.
Outdoor seating in summer. Local artists featured in artwork on the walls.
It would be great if they put a huge bookshelf in here- take a book, leave a book. I love when coffee shops do that.
