best coffee ever - Edit

Not just the best coffee in Berlin, but perhaps the best coffee we’ve had anywhere (almond & spelt flat white). I would move to this neighbourhood to be near this coffee. Highly recommend the ginger shot (seperate to the coffee). Food was fresh, made to order with lots of care and love. A small menu ensures top quality. Friendly service and a beautiful in house dog. Not to be missed on a trip to Berlin.

Great fermented food! - Edit

Black Sheep cafe is an awesome place, even for Berlin standards. Their menu is not large (I had three dishes to choose from) and at first glance I did not even find it particularly appealing (the sandwiches were filled with Mac n cheeze or Seitan, Sauerkraut and cheeze), but I was proven wrong: My main issue was that the foods don't sound very fresh, but they are served with a side salad with lots of different greens and even self made sprouts. Also they tasted really great.

The absolute best part, and the reason why you should go out of your way to eat here is the Kimchi and Sauerkraut they offer: It is self made and tastes divine. They also offer kombucha to drink. The owners are exceptionally friendly and very welcoming as well!

Pros: Good food, Great fermented stuff, Nice place and staff

Kombucha & Coffee yey! - Edit

Nice place, relaxed vibe.
I love their Kombucha, was obsessed with it for a while, had one almost every day :)
They serve great coffee. One of the few vegan places that cares about the coffee drinks. Cappuccino with oat or coconut milk is my favorite. Another plus for me is the outdoor seating, which is on the sunny side of the street (whenever there is sun :))
The food is good too.
Nice service, extra enjoyable if by the cool & funny Aussie owner.

Pros: drinks - Kombucha, Coffee, outdoor seating, service & food

Cons: none

Excellent place! - Edit

I had a croissantwich & matcha latte here, both were great. Friendly staff and relaxing space. They had some vegan books and other things for sale, although the homemade kimchi caught my eye! I'll be bringing some home after my next visit :)

For locals/people travelling with their dogs, this cafe is dog friendly.

Pros: Dog friendly, Great quality food and drinks, Friendly staff

Cons: None

Superb! - Edit

We were here for breakfast on a Sunday. They had two special (apparently really famous) vegan chefs there for the day who made us super yummy food. We could choose our own juice combination.
It's in a really nice quite area.
Definitely recommend this place!

Nice Atmosphere for a Light Meal - Edit

I had the wrap of the day, and a kombucha.
They offered also some pastries.

The wrap was yummy, perfect for a light meal (you can have a bagel instead of the wrap if you want your meal to be a bit more substantial).
The kombucha was also fantastic.

All-in-all, the menu is tiny; but I guess it's normal for this kind of Cafe.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly.

If only it would be located a bit closer to the station...

Pros: cozy, yummy light meals, great kombucha

Cons: none

Ewe gotta go here - Edit

We visited here for breakfast from our Kreuzberg hotel and ordered the mock duck and salad seeded bagel and tuna, chick pea and salad seeded bagel, both of which were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavour. We also bought the dark roast coffee and a cold press juice to go with our free jug of water. The prices are inexpensive and the staff are very friendly and spoke English. The decor and interior also brings a nice calm and relaxing atmosphere where you could quite easily stay for a few hours either to work or socialise.

Pros: Great food, Inexpensive, Friendly staff

Lovely cafe - Edit

I was most excited to visit Black Sheep Cafe, having followed bloggers based in Berlin, who always shared images of this cafe, and I was definitely not disappointed!

I tried their kombucha (of course!) and my sister had coffee, and she said it was the best coffee she had ever tried, and seeing as she was a barista and always needs her daily dose of caffeine this really is a big compliment!

We both had the bagel of the month which was with vegan cream cheese, salad and kimchi and some other things I have forgotten!

Definitely check Black Sheep out if you're in Berlin!

As well as the bagel, Black Sheep has a changing daily lunch, which was katsu curry when we visited.

Pros: Amazing bagels and kombucha, Friendly service, All vegan

Go here right now and try one of their bagel specials for the day (I had a pizza bagel and it was amazing). You can also customise your own bagel with a variety of toppings. There is a fantastic range of cakes, and of course the kombucha! The coffee is incredible, the staff are wonderful and always welcoming. The location and atmosphere is comfortable. I highly recommend a trip to Black Sheep!

Very nice and cosy vegan cafe - Edit

Had lunch there. A very nice spot to work alone or to have coffee with a friend, once you're there you don't want to leave! Bagel was delicious, fresh juice as well. Good coffee and good cake. Not too expensive but portions are quite small to my opinion (or to my hunger that day!). Definitely a good spot, will go back!

Great cafe for coffee and breakfast! - Edit

This place is a gem. Super-cute and inviting, friendly baristas, excellent coffee, delicious bagel sandwiches and super-kombucha. And it opens early (at 8a - a rarity in these parts). I had an almond milk flat white along with der Austrailier breakfast sandwich - both were completely perfect. I'll be back.

Pros: great food, good value, nice vibe
