Best Vegan Croissants in the Triangle - Edit
Had the Everything and Almond Croissant and they were amazing. The garlic cheese biscuit was also good but not as good as the croissants.

BEST vegan treats - Edit
I’ve been obsessed with Bklyn Bakery for a while now. I treat myself to a cake every year for my birthday and Keyana never disappoints! My favorites are the molasses cookies and the blueberry lemon cake, but you can’t go wrong with any of her treats!

Accessible, great communicator and amazing to work with - Edit
My wife and I worked with Keyana to provide cakes at our wedding. We were so impressed with the variety of vegan and gluten free options she provided, and she made the sampling process so fun and easy. Great communicator who was such a joy to work with, we feel so lucky to have her in our community. The carrot cake is our favorite!

Durham Farmers Market! - Edit
This is the first I’ve seen her tent at the Durham Saturday Farmer’s Market but she said she’s been there since April. I hope she continues to come back. It’s refreshing to see a 100% vegan bakery amongst the other usual bakeries at the market. We split a fun-fetti cinnamon roll and it was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Totally scrumptious vegan baking and cakes. - Edit
We ordered the seasonal blueberry cake and croissants for my birthday and both were divine. Not too sweet and the perfect celebration treats! Can’t wait for an excuse to order again.

Love this Bakery - Edit
The first time I used this bakery I asked if she could make a hummingbird cake (my son's favorite) for my son's birthday. She said she hadn't, but would figure it out and she did. This time I asked if she could make a cake similar to a blueberry crumble for someone who loves blueberry crumble. She did and it was absolutely perfectly amazing. #Veganuary

Fantastic!! - Edit
I ordered a special birthday cake from out of state to be picked up while I was visiting NC. The owner was very helpful with what size I would need and arranging a pickup time. The cake was moist, flavorful, and the icing was incredible!!

Worth the 45 minute drive - Edit
I live in rural NC where the access to vegan foods is limited. I am willing to drive 45 minutes to pick up pies, pastries, and cakes from Bklyn Bakery. It's that good! The food is incredible, and I'm so grateful to have someone willing to do vegan baking in our area.

Will drive long distances for Bklyn Bakery - Edit
I ordered an assorted box ahead of time and picked it up on a Saturday. By Sunday night all the items were gone because they’re just so good. I don’t get a lot of baked goods so having such lovely vegan versions was amazing!

I ordered a custom cake for my (small) wedding ceremony and Keyana did not disappoint! The cake was delicious and loved by all!
Read moreI'm also excited for their new name Bklyn Bakery. I'm so glad Keyana has been able to keep up with weekly popups and treat boxes during Covid, with pickups at Foster Street Coffee. If you haven't tried her delicious vegan croissants yet, order some now!
previous review:
I special ordered a vegan birthday cake from Crumbs after first discovering them. The cake was delicious! Flavorful and had great consistency. The frosting was a perfect amount of sweetness. It was an apple cinnamon cake (Vanilla cake with apple cinnamon filling and cinnamon buttercream frosting.)
I later had some of Crumbs vegan croissants. Vegan croissants are nearly impossible to find anywhere, and these taste exactly how I remember them. So impressive!
As of now, Keyana is only selling at events, or by special order, and a weekly delivery to Global Breath yoga studio. I hope to try more of Crumbs baked goods soon!

Vegan croissants! - Edit
Crumbs bakery makes plain, almond, and chocolate vegan croissants. They are beyond wonderful. They make other things too, but they had me at croissants...so I haven't tried anything else and maybe never will because croissants! They are flakey and decadent just like what I remember from croissants when I was only vegetarian. The chocolate is the best imho, but they are all great. They can be found at some local coffee shops or ordered online. I get mine at Cocoa Bean in Chapel Hill when they have them.

Unbelievably good - Edit
I ordered 2 cakes plus almond croissants for my graduation and Mother’s Day. My family and friends are not vegan and so it’s always risky offering vegan baked goods in place of butter and cream filled Omni desserts. All that I have to say is WOW. Everyone was blown away, you’d never know it was vegan. I’ll go further and say that her cakes are on the top of my all time favorite desserts... that is saying a lot for me. You will not be disappointed, I promise.
