Excellent menu and amazing staff

This menu has lots of variety and the staff cater well to dietary requirements. Food portions are huge and I strongly advise to beware getting both a starter and a main as they are just so filling! Will be back!

Amazing Vegan Menu

I have been to BKA Vegan three times now and have not been disappointed by the food. My first visit me and my friend shared a few plates - my friend (not vegan) was in love with the food. The two other visits I tried the "Chefs Choice Tastes of the World" that they have every Wednesday night and let's just say I will be back!

Great place for lunch.

We had the potato and tofu salad. Taste and texture amazing. Quite place with the beach across the street. Can’t get better that that.

Pros: 100% Vegan , Friendly family business.

Cons: It was very quite. I hope they stay in business.

Amazing vegan food! So many options!!!!! Staff are so sweet

I met a friend here and had a three course meal! The food was absolutely to die for, so flavoursome. The sour cream / icecream etc. wasn’t just cheap store bought, it was all made in house and soooo delicious! You must go!

Pros: Large menu that is completely vegan!!! , Sticky date and ice cream were UNREAL , The girl who served us was so lovely!

Awesome lunch!

Lunch plates were big & flavourful. Made us all happily full! We had Caesar salad, which my mom-vegan friend thought had real Parmesan cheese on it:), Bali bowl with many tasty toppings, and mushroom ramen. Their upside down apple cake with ice cream was so good too! All of us were full and happily satisfied. The waitress was attentive and made the experience even better.

Must visit!

We had gorgeous cocktails, eggplant chips, roti, spring rolls and nasi goreng. It was absolutely amazing and the staff were just fabulous! We will be back ❤️

Brilliant

I had the black bean burger which was delicious, well put together and not dry as so many vegan burgers are. good chips and aioli as well. my partner had the nasi indonesian dish (i forget the full name) which was just amazing, although too much food for her! good service and nice place, definitely recommend 👍

Favorite vegan restaurant on the GC

My boyfriend and I love this place. Never tried something here I didn’t like. Mushroom cheese toastie is my absolute favorite, but the big breakfast, black bean quinoa burger, Mac and cheese and Nasi campur Bali, and Caesar salad are all amazing!

Pros: Amazing food, Great date night spot, Friendly staff

Burleigh Heads ftw

I had the big breakfast, the banana smoothie, and a soy flat white. Hands down the best big breakfast I’ve had since going vegan. 10/10. I can’t believe I missed this place, I think I kept reading the ‘Currumbin market’ line in the description, not realising this is at my door step. Yes!!!!

Nice find

Thanks to my HappyCow app, this place was easy to find. But it is very unassuming from the highway. Nice little patio out in front. Very friendly staff. The gentleman at the table next to me was literally licking his plate. The food is that good. I had the taco plate. Very tasty. Next time I am going to try a couple of the small plates. Great place!

Hidden Gem

We somehow walked around this place, and had crappy food in Burleigh until finding this place! Just WOW! It’s a must try!

Pros: Lots of fun vegan food, Great drinks , Super staff

Cons: A bit expensive, but it’s worth it!

AMAZING!

Cannot fault this place! Every staff member was warm and friendly, the atmosphere and deco is lovely - they even had a great playlist on. The food was amazing too. We went for dinner and shared the grazing plate, salt and pepper tofu and crumbed mushrooms. Was super filling cheap for what it was.

So good!

We discovered BKA vegan after they did a pop up kitchen in Tugun. The food is super good! Their vegan ramen and salt and pepper tofu salad is to die for! Definitely check them out! They’re our new Friday night go to.
