Good protein options for pizza in SF! - Edit
This place is a pretty average pizza joint with the bonus of offering several different vegan protein options and a local made vegan mozzarella. A zillion other places in town just have veggies and daiya as the cheeze option and no protein. At Bizza you can get vegan chicken, meat balls or pepperoni as well as the usual selection of veggies. And they offer a vegan calzone here too, which you can't find anywhere else in the city. Pro-tip: I found that the veg pepperoni was too salty with the mozzarella so I usually get the chicken and meat balls, + whatever toppings and extra sauce. Also, for your dessert needs Bizza is across the street from a vegan burger place (VeganBurg) that has desserts so you can shuffle across the street and pick up some vegan chocolate cake or cheezecake while you wait for your Bizza.

Vegan Calzones are where it’s at! - Edit
Went to Bizza today, and I was so excited to see how many vegan options there were on the hanging restaurant menu. I was even more excited to find out there were additional vegan options on the kiosk menu that we used to order. SCORE! The vegan pizza slices were delicious, but wished they were just a little bit warmer on the reheat. However, the waffle fries, and vegan calzone were INCREDIBLE!!! Not to say the slices weren’t, but with how hot and fresh the former were it was hard not to pick favorites. I also should mention they have vegan ranch if that’s something you’re into (I am!), and it was a great addition to dip the calzone.
Read moreI also got the vegan cannoli which was premade, and frozen in the grab go case. I had one bite of it while it was still frozen and the fried dough was still crisp and crunchy, while the cream tasted like yummy ice cream. I’m saving the rest so I can let it thaw a bit more to get the creamy element out of it.
All and all this place was delicious, and would highly recommend.
Pros: Vegan Calzone, Waffle Fries, Vegan Canolli

Many options yes, but not that great and pricey - Edit
I was fairly excited when I got there bc of the many vegan options they seemed to have on the menu - but I was not that happy with the food. I got a small v cheese pizza that I added 2 toppings to (v pepperoni and basil) a side order of v cheesy garlic bread and the total was $54 before tip. The “garlic bread” should be taken off the menu, it was barely edible. The pizza was also underwhelming. It’s amazing a place tried to make a comprehensive vegan menu but did they even taste it before they served it?

Delicious and Huge Portions - Edit
Not sure what the fuss is about with other reviewers but this place is like a junk food restaurant for vegans.
Read moreI love the portions and how they use local vegan restaurants that they partnered with to create a menu at Bizza. Not just using national brands like Daiya, Impossible Meats etc.
Thanks for the effort Bizza!

Best place to get vegan pizza! - Edit
This review is long overdue. My family and I love Bizza! This is the spot to get pizza. They have great vegan options for pizzas and sandwiches. Our favorite pizzas by far are: vegan planet earth, vegan meatza, and vegan pineapple express. You can customize your pizza and do half and half. We also love their subs, especially the vegan “chicken bacon” ranch and philly cheese “steak”. We usually order the jumbo size pizzas, which will last us until the next day to enjoy. Their vegan mozzarella sticks are also amazing! Overall, I highly recommend Bizza. It is pricey, but definitely worth the quality and taste.

Vegan Options on Haight Street - Edit
I was bummed Veganburg (across the street) was closed, but got excited to see a ton of vegan friendly signage on this place.
Read moreService was great - I ordered the three (3) piece vegan mozzarella cheese sticks and an Olipop.
It could be me, but the sauce tasted off and the sticks were a tad too oily? I couldn’t finish them.
I don’t know if I was the problem or what, I’m also suspicious of non-fully vegan places….
Pros: Friendly Service, Great Location on Haight Street in SF, Vegan Options Available w/Signage
Cons: Not Fully Vegan/Plant-Based, Spendy , Vegan Mozzarella Sticks Too Oily

Vegan and non vegan options - Edit
Quite a few vegan options and was ready quickly. My omni friend said it the vegan buffalo chicken pizza was one of his favourite vegan pizzas yet! The cheese is pretty good for vegan cheese and doesn’t have a weird taste like some do. Definitely would come back and try the vegan mozzarella sticks!

Pricing was weird… - Edit
For some reason the pricing is all over the place, I ordered for pickup on Uber Eats, pricing was 50% more than on their placates.
Read moreWhen I asked the cook, he said that the pricing are correct but they charge for special request and I don’t know what else but the pricing of those requests were ridiculous.
He was also a little rude, thinking I was complaining when I was clearly trying to explain to him what I was seeing, even showed him and yeah, it didn’t make sense.
Lastly, if you don’t care about the service, or the pricing, food is amazing and definitely recommend it!

Lots of vegan items, all labeled, but the cheesesteak was really bad. Horrible smell and taste. Used butchers son meat and cheese (which is usually great) but the sauce was bad and not cooked well. Bread was really fresh and good
