I wanted to like it - Edit
Sometimes to be honest when I go out I’m just grateful to find something on a menu I can eat, but I am tired of lowering my standards based on what often feels like an afterthought on the menu. I may not eat meat but I have expectations for food on the menu to be fresh and delicious. I sadly cannot recommend this restaurant though it has a couple of items vegans “can” eat. The sushi rice was gummy and solid - not a lovely chewy grain to be found. I had hopes the tempura would be light and crisp and for the vegetables to shine, but unfortunately it was not the case. Even the dipping sauce was in such a small container none of the veggies could actually be dipped in it. So strange. The tempura was a beer batter style that was dripping with oil and then…salted like fries?! Salt on my tempura left me salty and very disappointed indeed.

Fun experience - Edit
Is easy to choose with your eyes rather than your stomach 😅. The rolls were very yummy.

Conveyor belt is the best - Edit
My partner has an obsession with conveyor belt sushi and I admit I support it pretty willingly. I loved this location when it was a different conveyor belt sushi place and I am happy to find that the new restaurant offers many of the same items. I am greatly thankful that they label vegan items on the inhouse menu (please label them on the website) and let you switch to soy paper for an additional fee. On my last visit they were out though and I was pretty disappointed. We spend too much money here, but the plates are a flat rate of 3.50$ each, they just add up fast.
Read moreThey do have some tasty vegan rolls, like the Go Green Roll and my old standbys the avocado roll and inari. I really like the spicy edamame. I usually get the sesame noodles, lately I've been having the house salad. I think I've had all the vegan things on the menu now. I'd love to see some new items added some day. We usually have to ask for extra wasabi and ginger as I tend to eat it like chips at a Mexican restaurant. It's easy to order custom items from your server. It can get busy.
Pros: Customizeable, Labeled vegan items
Cons: Easy to spend a lot

Love these places! - Edit
I love kaiten sushi places! You get to sit down and immediately start eating. And it’s fun to have the food zoom towards you! 😂
