My favourite dish in Bistro Vilja's ala carte menu is "vetanat" (vegan snail pan) made from mushrooms.
The service is super friendly and the place has a nice cozy and warm atmosphere.💚

Very vegan friendly place. Vegan dishes are clearly marked on the menu and most of the dishes you can order vegan by request. All of their desserts are vegan too, which is rare! I highly recommend two dishes: vegan escaragots (vetanat) and creme brulee. You can't find anything like them anywhere else (at least in Finland). Pure perfectness. ❤️ This place is known about those dishes. As a main course I ate gnocchi from the summer list and it was very delicious too.

Vegan escargots is an amazing dish! They also did a vegan platter for our two ears old and our dog was welcome both indoors and terace!

So beautiful place! Service is super friendly and the food is very good. I had vetanat (vegan escargots) with vegan blue cheese and potato flat bead with soy beef. Very tasty.

Snails? Vetanat? Yes, you got that right, they offer a vegan snail plate.😄It's just mushrooms in the end, but damn the sauce in which those were gratinated was just fabulous. We had some potatoes on the side, also excellent, can't wait to come back to try out more. On their weekly menu all dishes appear to be available in a vegan version as well. Nice atmosphere, cute back yard, great & friendly staff!

We had a lovely late lunch at Bistro Vilja ❤ All the appetizers sounded so good that we decided to take four appetizers and one salad to share. The broth served with focaccia and herb mayo was excellent, really hearty and tasty. The potato dish and the turnip with hummus were alright, but the star of the day was definitely the mushroom dish!! They were a piece of heaven - definitely one of the best dishes we've ever had in any restaurant. The salad with vegan 'nduja was lovely as well. Definitely will be returning to enjoy the mushroom dish again!

Would have liked to give five stars as I understood all of the dishes at Bistro Vilja were available also as vegan😄We especially loved some of the starters: Jerusalem artichoke with yummy creamy sauce and vegan snails made of mushrooms served with vegan blue cheese. Also the main course, mushroom pie was delicious. And the vegan creme brulee for dessert

Food here is amazing. Would have given 5 stars but that was not possible because it is not fully vegan bistro. Even though it is not fully vegan there are so many vegan options and most of non-vegan dishes are possible to get vegan.
