Limited options and overpriced - Edit
The outdoor terrace is nice here but there are only 2 vegan options. I went for the seitan tortillas and it was really bland and basic. Food here is definitely overpriced, wouldn't recommend

Locale carino anche se posizionato in una vietta un po’ così così. Non tante opzioni vegan,, ma tra insalatona, wraps, e bowl almeno ci sono e ci sono ingredienti Veg - io ho preso una Budda bowl, con riso nero, cous cous, insalata, ceci, pomodorini, fagiolini e tofu affumicato (!) - Direi bella ricca e colorata, mi ha soddisfatta - €13. Super comodo a due passi dall’appartamento vacanze (un po’ fuori dal centro). Personale molto gentile

Only 3 vegan options - Edit
I came here because of the options I saw in the pictures and previous menu listed here on HappyCow. Sadly the menu has changed and now there are only 3 vegetarian/vegan options left and the one I chose turned out to be a salad with no taste and canned green beans. Could be better! Service is nice though.
Read moreAfter talking to them they offered to make the seitan steak with tomato sauce they had on the menu previously. So you can probably ask and get other options that aren’t available in the menu anymore too.

Bistro Toc is not a very special and way too expensive restaurant and that shows in their food. I had the seitan steak which was OK but not something you would recommend. It is located outside city center, the service was OK but it took awhile for the food to arrive. I would not recommend coming with a big group (4) of people since it was apparently too much to handle for the staff. Our food arrived separately which made it a bit awkward. Normally, you would wait but it took so long for all dishes to come out at the same time, that we had to decide to eat separately…

We made a reservation for 20:30 and when we got there, they claimed that our reservation was hours ago and that they don‘t have a table for us. So we had to wait a long time for a table even though we had made a reservation. The food took very long. We ordered vegan nachos, a vegan wrap and the Seitan steak. Everything we got was just tasteless and tasted like we just made ourselves microwave food. The staff wasn‘t friendly either. We can‘t recommend this restaurant.

Hay mejores opciones en la ciudad - Edit
Por el lado bueno: tienen bastantes salsas y la comida estuvo rica (aunque no excelente). Por el lado negativo: un servicio muy lento, con errores, y no hay muchas opciones veganas. Fueron amables y se disculparon, lo cual se agradece.

Vegan wrap was delicious, so delicious I came back for more the next day. Served with avocado, veggies and a selection of chilli sauces. The service was very friendly. Definitely a place worth visiting after a day on the nearby Bacvice beach.

I had the seitan steak with vegetables and rice. I LOVED it! The vegetables were in a tasty tomato sauce which went so well with the seitan. I probably would have preferred white rice over red rice but still really enjoyed every mouthful.

We had the burrito with seitan. The guacamole was the only thing which had taste. The wrap was without flavours so we put more salt and pepper to it. The seitan looked like tofu and had no taste.

The vegan bowl was varied (two types of rice, several raw vegetables, and plain tofu cubes) and healthy but lacked taste. Overall it was okay but not great.

We had seitan tacos and a seitan salad. For a Mexican inspired restaurant the food was a little bland. The service was good, the staff were friendly and it is set in a nice courtyard with shade.

Very disappointing boring vegan dishes. We had vegan nachos, quesadilla and wrap, and neither of the dishes were good. Dry, unseasoned and just plain boring food. Also very small servings of guacamole. Also it took over an hour to get the food after we ordered. Absolutely does not recommend this place.

Came here with my partner on our holiday in split. Found it to be a nice place with very friendly service. We sat on the covered outside seating opposite. Contrary to previous reviews, all vegan options were listed clearly on the menu and we found them to be very tasty! Perhaps they've responded to feedback, but our experience was very positive. A fairly good drinks selection too with a local craft beer available. One of the places we'd definitely go back to if we visited again.

My boyfriend and I both got the vegan bowl. It was a bowl of raw vegetables, raw tofu, raw seitan and undercooked rice with no dressing. It was food made by someone who had never actually eaten or had any interest in producing edible vegan food. They also serve veal and the restaurant smells like cooking steak. gross.

This place has a nice atmosphere and a big sign in front that says “Vegan Options.” However, the seasonal salad came totally dry (no dressing of any kind), and the vegan bowl was the same (cold tofu, rice, lettuce, and a few other items). The service was very friendly, but unfortunately this was an example of simply taking animal products out of dishes and not replacing them with anything. If I wanted pure vegetables, I would go to the farmer’s market and eat there. The white sangria was delicious!

We ate the vegan wrap with both tofu and seitan and ordered the vegan rice bowl for our 4-year-old. Food was quite well made with versatile seasonal veggies & side salads, but a bit tasteless & bland - as if no salt or spices were used. Guacamole was excellent: if I could re-do our experience, I would order a big bowl of guac on the side & use it to spice up the food. We asked the waitress to make a smaller portion for the child, but his meal came out of the kitchen all big and fancy neverhteless. Oh, the seitan was really bad, tasteless rubber! Terrace was atmospheric and servic friendly, although a bit slow.

We ordered the vege burrito made vegan and the vegan bowl. Both were okay but nothing special! Vege burrito they just took out the cheese and sour cream but didn’t replace with tofu, seitan, vegan cheese or anything. Vegan bowl listed rice etc so I was kind of expecting a warm burrito bowl style dish but it was cold cubes of tofu, cold green beans, not even any avocado, beans or dressing! Wouldn’t bother coming back but it was quick and convenient
