Prepares fresh vegetable salads & serves soup and fresh made-in-house bread daily. Cooked food is sold by weight and include spicy Indian thal, chickpeas in coconut sauce with tomato, lasagna with bechamel, bittersweet black lentils with caramelized onions and peppers, spinach buckwheat pancakes, etc. Open Mon-Fri 08:30-15:00. Closed Sat, Sun.

I've got a vegan tour company and took a small group of vegans to tour through Prague/Vienna/Budapest. Although our options were more than plentiful in the cities, I wasn't sure we were going to eat when we visited Telc. Bistro Karot saved the day. We made a detour to the cute town of Jindrichuv Hradec just for them, and happily enjoyed the town too.
