Good pizza, not the best atmosphere

Like the previous reviewer I chose this place to get take-out pizza as one of the others in my party cannot eat gluten. My vegan pizza (with a gluten crust) was very good, large and filling, and I would recommend it, especially as it is significantly cheaper to take-away.

The atmosphere was not so welcoming though. We had to wait a while just to order, and then receive our orders, and witnessed other customers and staff being quite argumentative. The bar had nice decor, but very dark and there was a rather drunk and annoyed group of what seemed to be regulars who could be off-putting for tourists.

When they brought out the pizzas, they were not labeled, nor were we verbally told which were vegan/non-vegan or with/without gluten - we of course asked, but good servers should make that clear without prompting.

Pros: Labels vegan on menu, Portion size, Value

Cons: Atmosphere, Slow and disinterested service

Satisfactory pizza

I found this place through one of the vegan groups on Facebook. I was searching for recommendations for vegan gluten-free pizza and decided to give Bistro Bellman a try. The pizza was satisfactory although was missing certain ingredients mentioned on the menu. I found that quite amusing but still a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to the taste of artichoke. I got the pizza as take-out so didn't dine there. I was expecting more of a restaurant but it was closer to a pub, verging on dive bar. It's on a stretch of Götgatan which has several football pubs.

I would probably consider getting a pizza there again as it's difficult to get a vegan gluten-free base but in terms of overall impression and taste I'd be more likely to recommend Feca near Mariatorget.

Pros: Several vegan pizzas , option of gluten-free base, friendly staff

Cons: Pizza was missing ingredients, expensive in regards to quality
