Serves meat, vegan options available. Bistro inside the Alternativer Bärenpark Worbis bear park sanctuary which pays attention to a sustainable and ecological way of life. Cafe offers vegan dishes such as a wrap with tofu, noodles with pesto, cakes and sorbet. The vegan items are clearly marked. Fruits, vegetables and herbs are homegrown and a lot is regional and organic. Open Mon-Sun 10:00-18:00.

Tolles Projekt - Edit
Der Alternative Bärenpark ist ein tolles, unterstützenswertes Projekt.

Ich hatte ein veganes Knoblauchbaguette, was nix besonderes, aber lecker war.
Außerdem gibt es vegane Cupcakes und auf der handgeschriebenen Tafel gibt es scheinbar immer mal wechselnde Gerichte. Die Bowl, die auf der Homepage ausgeschrieben steht, gab es leider nicht als wir da waren.
Eis am Stiel war auch im Angebot. Eine Sorte veganes Magnum und ein veganes Wassereis. Es gibt verschiedene Kaffeegetränke mit Hafermilch.
Seit ein paar Jahren gibt es Ende Juni dort das Wir.sind.Tier-Festival. Wären wir länger vor Ort gewesen, hätten wir uns das sicher mal angesehen.

Mit Blick auf die Bären habe ich meinen Kaffee mit Hafermilch und mein Apfelkuchenstück gleich doppelt genossen. Dazu ist der Park ein tolles Projekt, was man gerne unterstützt!

Vegan Snacks with a great view - Edit
The bistro inside the 'The Alternative Bear Park' offers vegan options for hungry park visitors.
Read moreThe bistro is located right in the middle of the park / forest, surrounded by the outdoor enclosures with bears and wolves. You can directly eat in front of the bears (when the bears show themself). Very cozy.
We had the Wrap with Tofu and the noodles with green pesto. Both were delicious.
I think it's great that, in line with the concept, attention is paid to sustainable food and vegan dishes are offered as a matter of course. I would like to see the offer expanded further.
It's also great that plates and cutlery are made from sustainable resources and no plastic is used.
Pros: No plastic, indoor & outdoor seating with really great view
Cons: more vegan options would be desirable
