Vast selection of vegan goods!

This is most likely the supermarket with the largest selection of vegan goods in Birkenfeld. Although the place is rather small compared to other supermarkets, it's packed with vegan options, which are clearly marked with a green "vegan" label next to the price tag. Prices are comparable to Edeka (higher-priced supermarket). They also have a small bakery section next to the checkout where you can get freshly baked vegan pastry. When I was there, they had nut corners, cashew-quinoa corners, another fruit corner, and apple pastry. I had the cashew quinoa corner, and it was very nice!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Clearly marked, Vegan pastry

Cons: Not cheap , Limited opening hours, especially on Saturdays
