I love the menu options here, lots of porridges, smoothie bowls and toast options suitable for vegans, as well as great juice and coffee. The food is good, best brunch I’ve had in Düsseldorf but not outstanding. Service is often a little slow and they we’re having a wasp issue sufficient to rule out eating outdoors. Regardless it’s a nice place to while away the morning.

Es gibt viele vegane Optionen auf der Speisekarte, die von Bowls, Salaten, Bagel-Sandwiches, Brot, Kaffee, Smoothies und Desserts reichen. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und sachkundig darüber, was vegan ist. Insgesamt liebe ich die Energie dieses Restaurants.

Die Kennzeichnung für vegetarische und vegane Optionen ist gut gemacht, die vegane Auswahl sehr gross und das Essen sehr sehr lecker, frisch und ansprechend zubereitet. Und der Service dazu ist auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, Änderungen bei den Gerichten sind problemlos möglich.

Years ago, when I wanted to see who took over the location from Schnellveg, I didn't think that the cafe would be particularly interesting for vegans. I was wrong. Birdie has so many vegan options on their menu and the staff is super friendly so that you feel very welcome as a customer. Today we decided for a breakfast to go with vegan bagels (sesame bagel crispy and delicious), acai bowl (nutrient-packed), overnight oats (for us a little too sweet because of the dates and agave syrup) and two different banana breads (soooo yummi!). Birdie is twittering, I should come back soon 😉
