Outstanding Food and Atmosphere - Edit
Went here a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about how incredible this place is. I put in an order to go, but was impressed with the great atmosphere that seemed to be present inside. Would love to eat in the next time I go. I got a chance to try their special, which was a corned beef hash crunchwrap (vegan corned beef, vegan cheese, hash brown patty, grilled onions, tofu scramble, and a side of thousand island) and it was truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I also had a phenomenal sausage shallot quiche slice, with every component of it being incredible, especially the melty cheese and the crispy crust. I also had a chicken, egg, and cheese bagel that was magnificent; it had some of the best vegan chicken I’ve ever had. The hash brown avocado toast was also great, as was the Oreo blondie I tried. Awesome lattes as well. Highly recommend the potato salad and macaroni salad as well; I’ve eaten a lot of potato salad/macaroni salad and this ranks up there with some of the best. I thankfully had help eating all of this, and I certainly ordered enough food to get multiple meals from this, but I already look forward to returning to Cleveland soon so I can order even more.

Stopped in en route from Buffalo to Kentucky. A nice little vegan oasis. I had the bacon egg cheese and sausage sandwich in a sundried tomato bagel. Mmmmmmmm delicious! Only piece of (minor) constructive criticism would be to add a second slice of cheese to the bottom of the sandwich to hold the tofu crumble in a bit better. That said, yumzone, would love to stop in again if I find myself in the neighborhood.

This place is great, clean food. They have several options for tortilla and bagel flavors. We had a French toast breakfast bagel sandwich and breakfast burrito with jalapeño cheddar tortilla that were amazing! Lots of flavor options for coffees & teas. This is one of those places that leaves you wanting more and that is a good thing. The staff is very warm welcoming. I highly recommend Birch Cafe.

I was in Lyndhurst for work and found Birch Cafe. Staff was super friendly and helped me choose some options from the delicious menu. I got the BBQ chicken sandwich with a white peach blueberry lemonade. Both were very tasty. I also grabbed a pop tart and some vegan candy bars for the road. The wrap was really good and I loved the wood duckie toothpick in my wrap. I saved it for my plant at home! I would definitely visit this place again if I'm in the area!

Vegan takes on classic deli and cafe toasts, wraps, sandwiches, breakfast items, and sweets. Follow their social media pages for monthly and holiday food specials and local pop-up vendors. Ordering ahead is recommended for reserving special items that tend to sell out. They do catering too. LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Read moreThe food is definitely fresh! We enjoyed the bagel sandwich with tofu scramble, avocado, tomato, spinach, and “cheese”. We had a choice of bagel flavors. The sandwich was prepared right in front of us as we chose to sit at the counter.
The bakery items are brought in from a local vegan bakery source. We couldn’t leave without trying the highly recommended chocolate chip cookie. It did not disappoint as it was sweet, soft, and delicious!
We will definitely return to enjoy another meal at Birch Cafe!

One of the things I love about Birch is their monthly specials that are available Friday through Sunday after 11 AM. Just when I think I can't eat another French dip sandwich, which is this month's special sandwich (although I'm not sure that's possible), the menu changes for next month! Seriously, I should have posted this sooner. The French dip is made with soy curls, comes with dipping sauce, and has a drizzle of the most incredible creamy horseradish sauce I've ever tasted. I bought a side of potato salad to go with it, which is amazing (and I am a potato salad snob). Get there today if you can to have the French dip sandwich, but if you can't, I'm sure next month's specials will be equally amazing...and of course you can't go wrong with anything from their main menu either! Vegan comfort food for sure!

Great breakfast sandwiches and burritos - whatever vegan sausage they use is really delicious. Apart from the good food and friendly staff, they also have a selection of very reasonably priced gifts (homemade soaps, gorgeous resin homewares, and sweet treats).

2 of kids and I had a great lunch today. Kids meal in a bag for my 7 year old. Porky’s Revenge wrap for the 13 year old. I got the Dragon Club and avocado toast. “Bitchy Vegan [censored]” cookie, pumpkin pie and rainbow sprinkle cupcake for dessert. Everything was delicious!

I ate both the avocado feta toast and the pesto Chik’n wrap. Both reflected generous portions. Some of the menu items seem to be made by packaged plant-based ingredients vs. Being an in-house specialty. Owner was kind and helpful. The interior is clean and spacious.

I love everything about this place. I love the food, the vibe, the people making it happen, the little market, and the sense of community. I really enjoy their seasonal and themed menus, but it’s great that they always have a set menu as well. Several times I’ve pre-ordered meals and it was very convenient. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I’ve had from here. If I could rate them a 10 I would 😃
