My husband and I ate their last night on our way home from Montreal. Wow! The food was so good. We brought home left overs and the kids went crazy over them. This is seriously delicious food!

Great food - Edit
So happy to have a vegan restaurant we could support while on vacation. Food was great, I had the BBQ Jack fruit sandwich, the kids went for the B.L.T. and my wife the Kale salad. Just try to leave without taking a couple vegan doughnuts for later. We’ll definitely go back when in the area again.

Simply great - Edit
Went there for an early dinner with my family of 5, including 3 young children. First off, they have a kids menu! I’m not sure what that impressed my wife and I so much but after being vegan nearly 8 yeas I think this maybe the first vegan restaurant that we’ve been too that had a kids menu. The wait staff and management were engaging, accommodating, and so kind. The food was amazing. The kids had nuggets and hot dogs, as you do. The adults got a stuffed burger and bbq rib sandwich. They were out of this world good seasoned perfectly. Can’t say enough great things about this establishment. Brilliant.

Delicious vegan sandwiches! - Edit
Splurged for Father’s Day. So we started with the bang bang cauli bites and were delighted with crispy cauliflower cooked and dressed to perfection. My husband got the philly cheese steak and I got the Rueben. You can’t go wrong with either one. Two thumbs up!

AMAZING - Edit
I have been waiting to go to Birch Bark since before it opened! I finally was able to make the hour drive and try it with my omnivore fiancé. He got an impossible burger, I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, and we shared some mozzarella sticks. All of it was amazing! We can’t wait to go back! The donuts were awesome too!!! The food is about the price of a regular restaurant, unlike some other vegan restaurants I’ve been to that charge more simply for being *vegan* I appreciate that Birch Bark has “unhealthy” vegan food like mozzarella sticks, burgers, other fake meats, donuts... Not all of us want salads and other “healthy” stuff. Birch Bark has something for everybody! 😊

Amazing - Edit
My girlfriend and I finally had the opportunity to visit Birch Bark Eatery in Queensbury for the first time and WOW, we were blown away. We ended up getting 3 appetizers and then taking entrees to go cause we were sooo full. This is true amazing vegan comfort food. We had the mozz stix (to die for), French onion soup, and a krabless cake. We took a Philly cheesesteak and the buffalo chickn sandwich to go. And they came with “chips” which were fresh cut potatoes fried as chips that were stellar. I just wanted to applaud this place for being brave enough to be an all vegan restaurant and doing it perfectly.

Interesting - Edit
Of all of the all vegan restaurants I’ve been to, this one definitely had some of the most interesting foods I’ve found. We had fried pickles, buffalo cauliflower, a faux phish sandwich, a “crab” cake. Everything was delicious. They also make a great homemade potato chip on the side. The business owners/staff were very kind, but seem like they just need one more staff member for help.

My husband and I stopped here on our vacation. Let me tell you... the doughnut was one of the best doughnuts I had in my life. I had the Chikken Sandwich with BBQ sauce and he had the Philly Chzz Stayq and both were out of this world delicious. Highly recommend stopping here.

Yummy - Edit
Enjoyed a delicious "fish" sandwich and fries. The staff was attentive and friendly. I saw they sold the JustEgg in their cooler which is good to know. They do need to have a sign outside their door or window. If you go, it's the front door closest to Rt. 9.

People from this area are very lucky to have a high quality vegan place like this.
We'll certainly stop by next time we head this way.

Fair price with good options for non-vegan people to try for the first time. My friend who isn’t vegan loved the chicken sandwich and described it as “clean chicken” and normal chicken being “dirty chicken”.

Birch Bark Eatery is a YES! - Edit
I finally had the pleasure of visiting Birch Bark Eatery in Queensbury last night! I cannot speak highly enough of these people, the atmosphere and the delicious food- all of which are brimming with pure love.
Read moreIt was such a pleasure to see this manifestation of all Tania’s hard work pay off and to finally meet her in person. We first spoke over the summer about the business and some trials and tribulations she was facing en route to manifesting this dream- all of which she has staunchly overcome.
After having thousands stolen from her and having her dreams of opening this vegan eatery put on hold, Tania went back to working 80 hours a week in order to finance her dream. She installed her own kitchen. She says, “We opened October first and we’ve been open every day since. It’s been a lot of hard work but every single bit is worth it- every single bit. We’re here every day and we will continue to be open every single day!”
We tried the buffalo cauli bites with homemade ranch, a blooming onion with homemade horseradish cream sauce, the jacked-up ribs sandwich, a delicious reuben, a stuffed burger and battered eggplant fries with housemade aioli dipping sauce- all paired with lavender lemonade and finished off with a beautiful homemade dessert. It was absolutely to die for- and nobody had to die for it! I couldn’t believe I was able to enjoy all of this rich and decadent food without worrying about any animal byproducts being present.
As happy as I was to see and connect with Tania and to enjoy her delicious food, I was even further elated to see her table of literature about animal rights and veganism set up, complete with an informational sheet which noted that they meet every Tuesday to talk about animal rights, right here at Birch Bark. I was honestly moved to tears.
When Tania and Buddy thanked me creating for 518 Vegans, and I thanked them for what they’re doing for the cause, the circuit of gratitude was strong and palpable. We’re all out here giving what we have and bringing our unique gifts to the cause and it’s a truly beautiful thing.
I am confident that vegans and non vegans alike will enjoy this food. Dispelling myths about vegan food with their uniquely crafted, delicious entrees and spreading the light with their strength and resolve, Birch Bark Eatery is really doing the most. I encourage everyone to get out there and support them, and enjoy everything they have offer! Tania, you rock. I know I’ll be back soon!
Pros: AMAZING food made with love, Kind and genuine, happy, friendly service!, Vegan food even meat eaters will adore

I'm so happy there's an all-vegan restaurant here now! - Edit
I've lived in Glens Falls for more than ten years and I've been vegan for five. I've traveled to all-vegan restaurants and dreamed of having something nearby where I could bring my three children. We've loved visiting all-vegan restaurants on trips and vacations, but finally, we have something locally! It's amazing to be able to go somewhere and not feel like a weirdo or a pain in the [censored]. I feel like the bee girl in the Blind Melon No Rain video! My people!
Read moreAnd not only this, but the options are SO good. It's my goal to try every single thing on the menu. They opened less than two weeks ago and I'm already a third of the way through.
It's a lot of comfort food — delicious fried food, hearty sandwiches, lots of flavor. Which is awesome, because so often people equate vegan with bland, healthy, sticks-and-leaves food. This is NOT that. It's DELICIOUS. It's indulgent and tasty.
The vibe is neat and clean, elegant, even. Portions are good - you'll be full. But you'll also want an appetizer. Because: Fried pickles.
Pros: Fried Pickles, Dedicated fryer, Vegan meats made on-site, their own recipes
Cons: No delivery option... yet.

Great food! - Edit
My husband and I stopped here on our drive back from the Adirondacks and everything was great! We got the cauliflower bites (with BBQ sauce), salads, the chikken salad sandwich, and the BBQ jackfruit sandwich. We were also lucky enough to get some samples of the tomato soup (which was good) and the coconut curry butternut squash soup (which was amazing- made me wish I had ordered it to begin with). Staff was super helpful and seemed able to accommodate any food allergies or restrictions. Most menu items were (very well done) imitation omnivore fare, which makes this a great place for non-vegans or new-vegans. We don't live in the area, but definitely plan to be back whenever we're around in the future.
