Organic and vegetarian catering service. Its organic bistro at Augustmauer had shut down in early 2012. MAY 2013 REPORTED SHUT DOWN, WEBSITE NOT WORKING - REMOVED.

Bistro Biotop in Erfurt - a great find! - Edit
Bistro Biotop is a charming place, run by a totally friendly lady (and her little son ;). There is a wide range of different snacks, sandwiches etc with so much vegan among! Many of the just vegetarian meals can be prepared vegan. And everything at high quality.
They don't use a microwave so things may take a bit longer than at other places but it's totally worth it.
The portions aren't too generous but everything is organic which might explain that.
The atmosphere is just really laid-back. There are free magazines to read, good music to listen to...
If I come back I will definitely try out the Saturday brunch.
Pros: healthy, delicious food, friendly service indeed, chill-out atmosphere
