Some good faux meats & vegan butcher stuff - Edit
There is a fridge inside this regular butcher's shop with all-vegan products like soups, stews, all types and kinds of sausages, patés, burger patties and steak. Being inside that place with all that smell and where raw meat is handled in front of your eyes can be very repulsive. I asked about some products and one of the staff ladies (Mrs. Spahn?) was super friendly and explained that the most popular items were the burgers and sausages (which you can get at Best Worscht in town (I didn't like the crumbly consistency of them)), and apparently you can freeze the products, too. I got a steak with wild garlic marinade, a blood pudding/sausage and some Weißwürschte. I don't think staff washed her hands before scanning my products when she was handling slabs of raw meat though... The steak was very well seasoned and chewy in a pleasant kind of way, the Weißwürschte and the blood pudding were a bit bland, bit I could tell that someone tried really hard to mimick the taste with seasonings and herbs, and the blood sausage even had a slight metallic taste to it, which I found kinda impressive. (I gotta admit that I have no idea how the originals taste, though.) Overall I don't regret this but I don't think I would enter this store again as I am a bit traumatised.

yummy vegan homemade faux meats - Edit
the only disadvantage is, that you have to enter an actual butcher's shop to get into the enjoyment of these yummy faux meat products.
Read moreThe owner is a vegan himself and I have much respect for him, trying to incooperate as many vegan products into his company as possible.
If you dare to enter the shop (I can understand that it can be tough, especially if you don't like the smell of the raw meat in butchers), you get rewarded with a nice selection of different homemade vegan sausages and meats, stored seperately in another fridge.
The owners are very friendly.
Pros: interesting and yummy mock meats, friendly staff
Cons: you have to enter a butcher!
