Great for vegan staples - Edit
I usually find everything need here. That being said, it’s pretty expensive - which I guess is normal for an organic shop. I wish they didn’t sell so much meat.

Organic, but still promoting animal slaughter nonetheless - Edit
Barely covers even half of the stuff I'm looking for in a vegan market and the things it has are heavily overpriced. Under the guise of "organic" it still sells a lot of products bad for our environment, animal and human health, the global economy and developing countries.

It has some vegan items that I haven’t yet seen in Germany (e.g, different kinds of chocolate, frozen foods, cheese), the fruit and veg looked really good and wasn’t wrapped in plastic, there was a huge health and beauty section with vegan make up brands I hadn’t seen yet, and an upstairs clothing section. They also carry some specialty items that are difficult to find like Kaffir lime leaves. It made me feel like I was in something like Whole Foods or a co-op in the US. I look forward to going back! It would be fun to grab a snack and just hang out there.

Nice organic shop! - Edit
They have all of the typical products that you'd normally find in any organic market throughout Germany, and a few local and unique items that were a nice find. We stopped in here after the vegan Christmas market in the Feinkost eG on our way back to Dresden because I can't resist checking out a new supermarket. The had some nice miso pastes, arame(first time I've seen it in an organic supermarket since moving to Germany), and some dry ground round for bolognese, etc., made from sunflower seeds which is a nice alternative to the typical dry soy pieces. We didn't try anything from the bakery as it was a bit late in the evening, but the seating looked nice if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. Prices seemed standard to me in comparison to organic shops in other cities.

Great lunch menu - Edit
I went to BioMare (the one in Plagwitz) for a tea when I saw they had a vegan lunch and soup every day so I had to try it :)
Read moreAll ingredients were shown on the menu and you could choose between small, medium or large portion. Very tasty, healthy & cheap food! (Between 5-6 € for big portion).
I had the main dish and my friend had the soup, both dishes came with bread and the big portions were more than filling. Recommend!

Big organic shop with a bakery - Edit
Has many vegan products (can be a bit pricier than other smaller organic shops). The bakery has nice selection of vegan cakes, snacks and bread (cinnamon roll, brownies, zupftkuchen, apple pie.. etc). At least one of the lunch menu is also almost always vegan (soup with bread etc).

a lot of vegan options, a bit expensive but you can find there almost everything! there is also a bakery with great vegan breads.

This place is big. Here I buy my sour cream and biodynamic beef sausage. This place offers good variety, even more so than Macis.
