I absolutely LOVED this bistro. They have an upstairs and downstairs area, we sat downstairs for dinner under a beautiful tree with ambient lighting and a little beach right across from us. The ‘cheese’ platter and dip trio entrees had me almost happy crying, and the burgers are to die for. Friendly staff, incredible food, awesome overarching values, I’m so happy to finally find an all vegan restaurant in Europe - they have been hard to find while travelling!

A MUST if you are in Bol, even if you are not a vegan.
Read moreWe ate at BioMania bistro every day of our 10 days trip to Brac.
Not only that all the dishes are vegan, but all the ingredients used are organic. During our stay in Brac, we tested almost every dish from the menu and I can say that the quality of the ingredients is felt in the finished product. There are several options of natural juices, smoothies, ginger shots. The menu does not have a lot of options, as it is changed seasonally. In my opinion, a must try are the omelette, the spaghetti bolognese and the BioMania burger.
As for desserts, my two favourites were the brownie and the chia pudding.
The service is very fast and the staff are very kind.
We will return here for sure.

I was very impressed by the food I found at BioMania. All dishes are vegan and the ingredients are organic. Beers, sauces are all organic! And they taste excellent! I ate every day from BioMania Bistro or from the bar located on Zlatni Rat beach (BioMania street food)…if you are a vegan, then that’s the only place for you! If you are not a vegan, you should at least try the BioMania burger!

Read moreWe had a burger and the bowl but unfortunately they where a bit boring. They should add some nice sauces and spices. The prices are pretty high for the food you get. We where a bit disappointed and wouldn't go there again.

There's nothing like it in Croatia, vegan restaurants (especially on islands) are very rare. Staff is very kind and food is beyond delicious! We've tried vegan cheese platter, omelette and burgers and enjoyed every bite of it! Burgers are the best we've had so far. All flavours are well balanced and everything is carefully served. We highly recommend this place to everyone.
- It's a bit pricey (especially for Croats), but that's expected, having in mind that you're enjoying organic food on a secluded island :).

We went for breakfast, dinner and then breakfast again because it was so good! The vegan omelet is simply amazing and also the dinner was very good. On top of that the staff is extremely nice, we really felt welcome. And the location is nice too with a nice view.

Delighted to find a vegan restaurant in a place like Bol. Make note also that they also have a street food stand in Zlatni Rat which my partner and I recommend the "Surf & Walk" wok which contained peanuts, coconut milk and rice noodles.
Read moreNot so much the "Mediterranean Wok", it lacked flavour and was missing olives which was advertised.
We wanted to try the "Sea Focaccia" but sadly it wasn't available as were other items on that menu. But that's the case sometimes and luckily they still have delicious options.
The restaurant itself I recommend going there and make a reservation on the day as it does get busy.
The burgers are delicious, we ordered both and the only difference we could make out was that one had like a red pepper salsa and the other didn't, which we found odd, nevertheless we scoffed them as they are tasty.
The bollito bowl was super yummy and fresh but again missing coriander, the salsa and sweet potatoes (we were told about the sweet potatoes). So there was an occurrence happening with missing ingredients.
The double chocolate cake was outstanding, definitely one of the best vegan desserts that I have had.
Sweet potatoe fries were unavailable throughout our stay unfortunately but you were allowed to order fries from neighbouring restaurants and have them with your meal. Which was nice.
So besides the missing ingredients and unavailable items. I support and recommend the restaurant as a whole the food is tasty overall and there isn't a place like them here so you can forgive them for the missing food items.

Sweet, little bistro right at the beach! - Edit
Quite a few options here although its just a small bistro. Its super delicious and not too expensive. The staff is lovely. If you are close by, I can definitely recommend this place. IMPORTANT: They have a proper restaurant with a lovely outside seating area right in the centre of town, which I can not recommend enough. If you are visiting Bol, go there! It is one of the best vegan restaurant I have visitied so far.

This is by far the best restaurant in Bol for vegans. That’s not to say it’s fantastic, but it’s good enough to eat here instead of the other restaurants in the village which are terrible for vegans. The service is absolutely lovely though!
