Amazing vegan restaurant in the mountains! - Edit
Very friendly people serving great food, with herbs and vegetables from their own garden. We went there during our thru-hike of Gran Canaria and were very excited to find a vegan place. It didn't disappoint!

Very lovely restaurant which serves only vegan food. Very friendly owner with his wife. He told us that they cook and serve for example seitan for 40 years and that's how it tastes. Everything was very tasty.

Wonderful visit at Biocreperia. The food was excellent. Very tasteful and you could really feel that the ingredients were fresh and of the best quality, directly from the owners' farm. They were also very nice and friendly and helped us with a bag we forget there. The restaurant was so cozy with lots of plants and a fantastic view of the landscape.

If you enjoy meals that combine great flavours and high quality ingredients, then you should definitely try the food here at Biocrepería RiscoCaido - it doesn’t matter whether you are vegan or not, the food is just great (just to reassure any of your non-vegan friends)! The setting is lovely, with a couple of different terraces and a cosy restaurant area. You can tell that the owners really take pride in their food and the ambience of the restaurant, and we found them to be very kind and patient with us. Our Spanish is not great, but they patiently explained all of the meals, sauces, and ingredients, and they happily answered all of our questions. We loved sitting out on the front terrace watching the world go by below us as we enjoyed some of the best food we’ve had since we arrived on the island several weeks ago. With a rotating menu and new items to try, we plan to be back next weekend!

I was staying at Altenara (which is so beautiful and quiet) and never thought I was ging to have a nice vegan lunch over here (to be honest).

The titel of the restaurant asumes that it is vegetarien. But the whole card is vegan.
I also noticed how friendly the people from the restaurant are and that they are more than welcome to explain the dishes (gluten free or nut free isnt a problem at all). Would love to go here again. Unluckily for us they are closed from Sunday till Tuesday.

First of all. Vegetarian place in the middle of the beautiful mountains is a very pleasant surprise. However, with all the 5 stars reviews the expectations were really high.
Read moreUnfortunately the food despite being beautifully presented on the plate had very little taste and was only half warm. Same about "lemonade" that had room temperature and very little to do with lemodade.
We were 2 persons and did chose different options so we could taste more things and both of us had the same impression. The food was just OK, and it is such a pity, because all the rest was so great. Also there was no option to choose single plates, so basically the options are very limited.
We didn't try the deserts.

Op TripAdvisor en HappyCow dit restaurant gevonden. Het was een lange bochtige reis er naar toe maar het was het meer dan waard. Vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten. We hadden een 4 gangen menu voor 20 euro per persoon. Broodjes met een smeersel (paprika/walnoot) vooraf een linzen/pompoensoep als tussengerecht, keuze uit iets van 5 verschillende hartige crêpes en een nagerecht van ijs (mango, bosbes of vijgen) met brownie.
