I’m not sure if they changed their menu, but this place is now 100% vegetarian and can make almost all menu options vegan. They had a variety of great options that were flavorful and filling. Highly recommend!

A love & hate relationship with this place lol - Edit
I use to always come here, but I have a love and hate relationship with this place. I use to order their enchiladas with chorizo for delivery and they would always replace the vegan chorizo with egg which is extra and which I don't consume. Also I realized that each time I would eat the veg chorizo I would feel very bloatted after, so I stopped going. Some of their meals are really good like their teriyaki bowl, and nachos, oh and their horchata is amazinggg! I recently went back for desert and I am happy to say, they have improved their desserts so I can imagine they probably improved their whole menu.

Another place that was recommended to me a lot so we had to check it out, this vegan & veggie restaurant also has a little supermarket inside. I went for the pastor tacos - before this trip I thought I wasn't really a fan of pineapple but I ate it pretty much every day in Mexico! These tacos were really good, I was only a little distracted by the guest sitting at the table next to us 😂

This place has so many options for vegans, making it super hard to choose what to eat / drink! We picked 3 plates to share - the nachos, pita bread and soy tacos. All 3 were amazing (you HAVE to try the vegan nachos - but be aware the portions are huge!). Staff are super friendly and there is a supermarket/ food store inside with all sorts of vegan goodies. A great little spot!

I ate at a Bio & Natural in Tulum last week and had the avocado toast and Aztec Salad. They were both pretty good so in a pinch because Playa del Carmen is less vegan friendly than Tulum I decided to try them again. This time was really off the mark. I got the guacamole appetizer and the soy pastor tacos. The serving of guac was tiny compared to what I had been getting here in MX. The tacos were sad limp tortillas with cold little soy nuggets and some diced onion. The tacos were totally cold. I had already waited a very long time for them so decided not to ask to have them heated and eat and get out. Some of the most disappointing food in MX so far. I would only go back here if there was no other option.

I ordered the hamburger which is accompanied with potatoes. I asked for salad instead of the bread. I ended up with only salad, no potatoes and the cherry on the top : the veggie steak is simply disgusting and has an awful taste !
The food is expensive for the quality and the quantity in the plate.
You can eat way better vegan food in other restaurants in Playa.
It was a very bad experience and I'm unlikely to come back

We went here twice - once for breakfast where I got the pancake sensation, which honestly, I feel bad for saying, but I couldn’t finish them as the pancakes were so bland and dry. Not very sweet. But my boyfriend loved his protein bowl. Then we both got the burger which was nice when I started eating it but then I couldn’t finish because the mushroom flavour was actually really overwhelming. The potatoes on the side were good but I don’t like that thing of throwing loads of paprika over chips (fries) because again, it just tastes overpowering. The prices were really quite high which I wouldn’t have minded paying as much had I actually enjoyed the food.

I bought some items in the shop, paid by credit card. Guy at the counter and his boss insisted that I hadn’t paid, even though I could show them online that the money had been taken from my account. In the end they let me leave with the items, because I refused to pay again. Very embarrasing and umcomfortable
