Convenient

Convenient shop with a lot of goods, however the vegan croissant was very dry. However other pastries seemed nice so probably just a case of sitting out for too long

Convenient shop with vegan options

This shop is a very good option if you're changing trains at Antwerp station or don't have time to go far from the station. There are many vegetarian and vegan options, and it has quite a reasonable range considering how small station shops often are.

A joy to shop at

Bio Station Store sells both non-veg*n and veg*n items. They have plenty of vegan products: meat substitutes, plant milk, vegan yogurt & cheese, sandwich spreads, snacks, vitamins, toiletries, ... The friendly staff makes it a joy to shop there.

Pros: Very friendly staff , Great location , Plenty of vegan items

Cons: A bit on the pricey side (because organic)

Store plus Food Bar

The store is now in separate, nearby premises from the “Organic Food Bar by Bio Station.” The store is not too large but has fresh produce, non-veg and veg’n items, Belgian chocolate, snacks, etc.
A couple of doors away, Organic Food Bar by Bio Station is a coffee shop with a few vegan options. I had a vegan-cheese submarine sandwich on brown bread with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and shredded carrot (€4.40 takeaway), which was good. Takeaway prices are lower than eat-in.

Pros: location in the train station

Cons: not enough vegan options

Nice store in Antwerp Central Station

We are glad that we found this store at Antwerp Central Station. It is well positioned and has a lot of vegan food and vegan ingredients. If you travel by train, visit this store for a tasty meal; the sandwiches are very good, the shop is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Pros: Good food, Good location, Friendly staff

Good place to stock up on vegan stuff

Sine the last time I visited, this store has moved to a larger place just a few meters away.

Now they stock practically everything you need:
- plant-based milks, vegan cheeses, charcuterie, spreads, ice-cream, frozen mock meats from the "De Vegetarishce Slager" (check for the ones with the vegan sign)
- cooked vegan food (in bins)
- cosmetics
- mueslis, grains and fresh produce

A great place to do your shopping if you are at the station!

Pros: variety of vegan stuff, location

Cons: not all vegan

Convenient

Good location, good offer of fresh fruit and vegs, legumes, nuts and seeds, butters, cosmetics, frozen food and other things... The only - is that it is a bit more pricey than regular health food shop.

Pros: location, offer of goods

Cons: a bit more pricey

Excellent health food store

Fresh bio-vegetables, very good range of nut-butters (wonderful dark sesame tahin and cashew butter). And their biological Kamut bread is a little more expensive than the others but definitely worth the try, amazing!

Do your shopping and get some lunch or a snack!

Bio station combines the best of both worlds: do your shopping and get a vegan sandwich while you're at it. Bio station offers a nice selection of vegan foods and ecological items like cleaning products and cosmetics. Everything you need you can find in this shop!

Pros: Lots of good vegan products, Vegan food to go (or eat in), Central location, great on the go

Cons: Vegan items are placed between non-vegan items

Fantastic Store!

This is a great little bio shop and sandwich bar- so wonderful and convenient to have in the train station! The staff are super friendly, prices are very reasonable (especially when considering it's in a major train station) and they have a really great selection of vegan foods, snacks, and baked goods. I love that I can stop off here before my commute home and grab something tasty & healthy to eat!

Pros: Friendly staff, Good prices, Great selection of snacks and ingredients for home

Sandwiches!

At this small little store in Antwerp Central train station you can find a lovely staff that keeps you coming back for more. As far as I know, they are the only store that sells Vego Bars in Antwerp so you don't have to go to other cities if you're an addict to it like most of us are!

Furthermore, they have 3 vegan sandwiches:
-Hummus
-Wilmersburger (vegan cheese) and vegannaise
-Tartino

They also have some vegan soups (better ask before which ones are vegan), many other vegan (and bio, since it's a bio store) snacks, spreads, cheese, candy, etc.

Definetly a must go to when you're hungry and need to take a train or just arrive. Or if you just want a quick lunch break combined with a nice tea or coffee!

Pros: Lovely staff, Cozy, Vegan sandwiches

Great for quick bites and a few groceries

Very easy to find place in Antwerp (since it's in the main train station :) ). It is a small organic convenience store where they offer quite some vegan products, even vegan cheese (Wilmersburger). With this cheese they can make a great sandwich (or baguette) for you as well. Completed with veganaise so 100% vegan :)

The sausage-roll Lieze mentioned is unfortunately not vegan any longer. But definitely ask the lovely staff which options you can have as a vegan. Baguette (pretty big compared to most sandwiches) is around €3,5/€4. Hopefully their offered vegan options will grow soon

Pros: Easy to find, Lovely staff

Well appreciated!

I have discovered this place just by walking by! Very friendly owners. They had vegan 'sausage' rolls and lots of vegan foods in their food corner. They were positive when I asked if they could make vegan sandwiches.

Pros: Open for new suggests, Organic
