Nice restaurant in Palermo Hollywood - Edit
This is a nice vege restuarant with good wholesome food and service, which is a relief to find in Buenos Aires. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable. It is easy to access from Palermo station (about 10mins walk) and is located in the popular night area of Palermo Hollywood. A meal costs about 35 pesos. The menu is also in English.

Otherwise I can’t say much , flavor isn’t t great , the eggplant was good but needed salt , the potatoes were good , and service is ok they had a picture of a cat inside the restaurant and said pet friendly so we felt good to go , when we come to the place they sayed we can just sit outside it was freezing raini… no heat no umbrellas

I didn’t expect much while travelling through Buenos Aires and someone suggested this place so I went. I had a vegan lunch special & all ingredients were so fresh and delicious! Must try if you are in the city! Staff speaks English too. Keep in mind, I was surprised that the price is even more expensive than Vancouver, Canada, where I am from.

Organic is the name of the game at Bio Organic. I went to Cafe, which is in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood. It’s got that lovely “green” homey esthetic and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The service was good. The good good. I had tofu with a nice mustard sauce, accompanied with a green salad and quinoa. I like it. My husband had the mushroom veggie burger and he thought it was so/so, but he is Omni. It is very reasonably priced, especially for USA diners due to the exchange rate.

The seitan green curry is heaven on earth, the polenta is rich and subtle, and try their Hawaiian coffee, delicioouuus!
I would highly recommend you stop by and take part in the experience, they were the first organic restaurant in Buenos Aires and they surely know what they do!

Bio is not an exclusively vegan restaurant, but they do offer a good number of vegan dishes on their menu. Their menu options are straightforward and healthy. I know exactly what I'm eating and can feel good about it.
Read moreI stopped here for an early lunch and ordered two wheat empanadas (chard and olives, and tofu), the Essene pizza, and the coconut flan with dulce sin leche.
The empanadas were decent. I liked that the crust was not greasy, but the fillings were a bit too salty and could have used more flavor. The tofu one particularly was well seasoned but would have been better if instead of just tofu it had some veggies in there as well.
The essene pizza is a raw vegan dish. It's basically two triangular seed crackers with a bit of cashew cheese and topped with olives, sun-dried tomato, and sunflower seeds. It came with a small side salad consisting of dressed lettuce. Again, the dish was a bit too salty. However, everything was very fresh and I enjoyed the flavor combinations.
Up to this point in my meal Bio had not really offered me anything I would praise or return for.
Dessert was the game changer. I ordered their vegan flan and was absolutely mind blown. It was creamy and soft and absolutely delicious! The texture they achieved was wonderful and the taste was genuinely that of flan. The dulce sin leche was also quite spectacular. I don't know how they did it, but Bio's flan is a masterpiece. I will likely return solely for dessert before I leave Argentina.
Overall, Bio is nothing special save for their flan. Their food is good and their options are wholesome and healthy, but the only star in their menu is their vegan flan.

I'm very willing to go back and try a different dish though as tofu is hard to master in terms of flavouring and everything else that came out of the kitchen looked amazing.

Every dish I tried was lucking something either not flavorful enough or too salty, I ordered mushrooms and I couldn’t finish it because it was too salty. I ended with a desert that I took two bites of and didn’t finish (and I love deserts)

Small and cosy organic veggie restaurant with ample vegan options and several raw dishes as well. Daily extra option, and they have a good value lunch menu. Great service, good vibe. English spoken. We went twice during our visit. Both times (especially Saturday night) were very busy, so booking probably recommended during weekend evenings.
