Excellent selection - Edit
I was very hard up for cash during my stay in Madrid and this was pretty much the only place I went. No need to go anywhere else, either, is my conclusion.
First of all, as the name implies, everything in this supermarket is certified organic. This doesn't mean the owner has tasted it all or takes responsibility for the quality, and there are 'mines' so choose carefully.
The minimal occurrence of typical Spanish products is a huge plus, since this stuff can be seriously disgusting and useless, despite often very attractive packaging and descriptions. Not to mention poor quality, despite EU organic certification.
Also be careful with some French prepared dishes and other products, as not all of it will be good. However you can safely buy the fresh baked bread, fresh veegetables, cold pressed juices, natural and produced alkaline waters, and... What more does one need?
They do have grass-fed certified organic meat, as well as a large selection of French cheeses. Note that their emphasis isn't on veganism or vegetarianism, but just on "Bio".
Big supermarket that exceeded my expectations of bio shopping in a world capital, even though it was Madrid in this case...
