Great Little Find! - Edit
It’s like walking into someone’s front room! Lovely gentleman who cooks everything himself. Everything was freshly made, and probably 50% vegan and 50% vegetarian. It was very busy. It was a one sitting type of place, although I find that people in Austria seem to eat early!

Cons: I would prefer dishes to be served separately.

Absolutely delicious - Edit
Vegan options marked, owner knows clearly what products are vegan if you ask.
Read morethe food is absolutely delicous, even if I would expect more spicyness from an indian restaurant (which may be good for most spicy avoiding people😄)
Pros: Delicious

Also good for people who don't like spicy - Edit
Good Indian food. We had the dish of the day and a mushroom dish which were both really good. Only the dal was a bit spicy.
Read moreThey also have a good vegan Mango-Lassi.
They have outdoor-seating which is directly on the sidewalk, next to the Street, but alright since the street is not really busy.

I’m also grain free and they have me extra food to make up for no grains on my plate. Ask for spicy if you want more spice.

Not a second time - Edit
Food was not spicy at all and was rather tasteless. The rice was cooked way too long too. Even worse the place was incredibly filthy, also the glasses and plates. 3 out 3 glasses were very greasy. The plates were crusty on the bottom side (let's hope the front was clean :D). This place has some high ratings here and on Google and I have absolutely no imagination how this is even possible...

Indian food - Edit
If you love Indian food, this is the place to go. The restaurant could use a work over, but the food tastes nice and the spicy-ness can be adjusted to "European spicy". Friendly staff and fast service.

Cons: Lying about WIFI

I was there 2 weeks ago. At that time it said on the door something along the lines of: "No WIFI, talk to each other".

Cute place, nice dish of the day - Edit
I really like this place because of its cosy interior. The owner is really friendly and attentive (even offering more of your dish if you're still hungry). The food is decent and something different everyday.

Authentic Indian in Austria - Edit
We serendipitously stayed in the hotel next door to this tiny restaurant and, astonished to find that it served vegan food (rather than Wiener Schnitzel), ate there every night, each time content simply to order the special — whatever it happened to be! The owner is so very attentive, even offering second helpings of this or that dish.

Amazing Menu - Edit
The Menu is really awesome because every dish has the exact description about what is vegetarian, and what is vergan. It is easy to pick something there and the food is delicious!

so so great - Edit
A cute and homey vibe. Massive portions, especially if you get the daily special. They have a little health food selection as well. The guy is super lovely, even gave me 2 free vegan bliss balls! Only downside is that the sides are quite expensive, but if you get the daily special and a drink it's seriously good worth ?

Vegan Special - Edit
Started with an order of Samosa, which came with a side salad and delicious mango chutney (€5), then for the main I had the daily vegan special, which was a lentil Daal and 2 veggie curries on a large bed of ride! (€8)
Read moreIt was just the one server/cook working in a not-too-busy environment, but he was very caring and ensured everyone enjoyed their meals! No overbearing serving staff, which was great!
I also had the Powerball dessert, which was amazing! 6 for €3.5, I had 2 right away and saved the rest for later!
The food was fairly priced for all organic and lots of fair trade. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere though, especially as its RIGHT off one of the main shopping streets.
The Food was very tasty. I would go back again, if I want flying out this morning!
Pros: Quality, Taste, Firendly
Cons: A little expensive for samosas & other starters, Laid back = sometimes slow to take order

not what you are expecting after such good reviews - Edit
I didn't like the fact that they offer little portions for quite a high price and that the taste is just ordinary and nothing special. I had better Indian food at a non Indian restaurant.
Read moreI tried the gluten free vegetable soup and expected vegetables in it. Instead I got barley and potatoe soup that tasted not good. I asked why they clarify it as glutenfree and got a salad instead. They said its gluten free barley but I didn't trust them and also I didn't want a soup full of carbs and no vegg. Salad was tiny for 4euros! I'm not returning...
Pros: nice colours on the wall, offer vegan and vegetarian food only
Cons: high prices, doesn't taste very good , small portions

Nice, cozy, familiar restaurant - Edit
We went there for lunch on a Sunday, it was full but we managed to squeeze on a small table, there is not much choice but the food is very good and authentic, therefore a little spicy :) ... the vegan energy balls at the end were delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and the owner very nice. There is also the possibility to buy several vegan food items at the restaurant, including the spicy sauces. I would definitely recommend it and hope to be able to visit again.

Vegan AND gluten free! - Edit
We were staying at a hotel just nearby and I was using happycow to find vegan places. I didn't really feel like having Indian food but this was right down the road and had some good reviews. I have to agree! I had a taster plate of three curries with basmati rice for something like 7.50 euros, really good and filling. I also had a mango lassie with soy yoghurt - I was so happy!!! The vegan loaves were also very good. Would recommend this place. They also sell vegan chocolates and other vegan items. Oh - and several indian people ate there too which is always a good sign for the cuisine!

Cosy, delicious and perfect! - Edit
My partner and I stumbled across this lovely place upon our first little walkabout around Salzburg, and it was like a godsend. Not only are there vegan options, but many of the meals are also gluten-free (which is such a rarity to have so many gluten-free options in one area). They have a range of curries to choose from, meals based around tofu steaks, salads, entrees and desserts as well as a daily special with a variety of curries on your plate. Not all options are vegan as there are a few involving cheese, however this restaurant offers some of the greatest vegan/Indian we have ever eaten. The service was humble, and the interior decor was lively and quaint. We went there twice in our three day stay as the choices were overwhelming for us! A perfect night out!

great food, ok staff - Edit
The food here is delicious, although somewhat limited, but the staff was not very good and vegan/vegetarian wasn't clearly differentiated. We ate here twice as it was fortunately right outside our hotel and on the second time I asked what was vegan - it turns out anything not marked vegetarian is vegan, but some things are marked vegan (and others no marking) which is what confused me. They are so vegan/veg foods to go, packaged foods, body & home products here. If you love Indian cuisine then this restaurant is authentic and worth checking out.

We had a lovely meal there! The food was delicious, and the service was fairly quick. It looked like the owner was the only person working there, but it didn't slow the service. The food was truly delicious - I highly recommend the paneer and naan.
