Very good food - Edit
I got the chicken sandwich, ice tea, and potato wedges. It was very good and I finished it up with a chocolate chip cookie (which were amazing). Very homey environment and everyone working there was super sweet.

Everything was delicious!!! - Edit
I enjoyed the southern plate, the yams were perfect. My husband never eats yams and couldn't stop take some of mine. The macaroni was creamy and the okra was on point. Can't wait to enjoy another dish soon!

Awesome down home cooking! - Edit
So glad we stopped here on our way back to OKC. Absolutely loved the food. I had the coconut crusted chicken and my daughter had meatloaf which I helped her eat because the portions are large enough to share. Delicious sides we had were mac n cheese, cabbage, yams, fried okra, baked beans and rice w/gravy. The chocolate chip cookies were awesome too. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Cozy atmosphere and Delicious soul food - Edit
I've eaten here a few times since they opened and never been disappointed. This restaurant is operated by a lovely couple who take pride in their food, life and the experience they give customers. From what I understand everything is house-made and as fresh as it can possibly be. Try anything!

Delicious treat - Edit
Super cozy family run gem in an older strip mall. Food was fantastic- you order from the options on the chalkboard so it looks like they change it up occasionally to offer different sides or mains. $14 a plate includes a mains choice and 3 sides which was more than plenty. I haven't had okra in forever so that was a treat! The kid liked the meatloaf and the chick'n southern plate was fantastic.

Delicious southern comfort food - Edit
Really unique vibe. Great customer service. Feels like a family business. Small menu with lots of ways to customize by choosing your favorite sides. Everything is vegan. Meat substitutes are almost eerily like meat. Got the coconut crusted chick'n, mac and cheese, and fried okra. Hot sauce available (so I smothered my sides with it). Delicious, delicious, delicious. Worth the drive.

This place is hands down the best vegan restaurant we’ve been too. - Edit
The owner was very friendly and super knowledgeable. It was our first time in and I had been looking for somewhere to help subside my cravings for fried chicken. The food here not only did that but truly left us wanting more. The coconut crushed chicken was to die for, the sides all sounded great but I decided on fried okra, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes...all of which were mouthwateringly delicious. The pricing is cheaper than most vegan restaurants around town, and portion size was pretty hefty, all in all...we will be back and are HUGE fans of The Binge Kitchen♥️♥️♥️

A Lot of Soul - Edit
I went to Binge Kitchen with no expectation other than a few comments from friends on other social media. The location is conveniently located in the central area of San Antonio. The place is quaint and looks like it’s getting used to having people fill it’s seats.
Read moreThe menu is on a marker board looking very homey and describes the daily offerings. I got a coconut crusted chicken which was delicious and subtly sweet served with a savory apricot dip. The sides I had were mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and fried corn—all of which had as much if not more attention to detail than my entree.
The only con might be the level of seasoning, specifically pepper to some sensitive pallets, but there’s plenty of other offering that I’m sure the kind staff can point you in the right direction. The portions were a great size and me and my partner left a few bites each on our plate. Great food for a great value—I can’t wait to go back to Binge Kitchen.
Pros: Good portions worth the price , Friendly staff with a family atmosphere , Made to order
Cons: Could be a bit strong on seasoning for some

Delish food - Edit
Pros: this was some legit southern cuisine that really hit the spot for everything we got. I ordered the wings and was blown away by the flavors. My wife had the Mac and cheese and she said it was her favorite Mac and cheese she’s ever had which is a tall order. She also had the chicken sandwich which we both agreed was really good. Couldn’t have asked for more from

Cons: Service was a little slow for how many people were there, they forgot one of the sides (which was later brought out) and they didn’t have desserts since it was Sunday.

Amazing vegan restaurant with a wide variety of options and comfort food. It's a little small, but the restaurant itself is really nice and well-decorated. It's a little tough to find and doesn't have a parking lot, so you might have to circle around a bit, but it's well worth it!
