Wir waren am Japantag 2026 da. Vielleicht war das Angebot da anders und weniger vegan. Es gab kein veganes Soft-Eis und auch keine Apfel-Zimt-Füllung, nur Bohnenpaste. Dafür war Shaved Ice im Angebot. Das war auf allen Karten fett als vegan gekennzeichnet, wie wir nur durch Zufall herausgefunden haben, war es das aber nicht! Es war ganz normal mit Kondensmilch hergestellt.

Nice taiyaki, disappointing soft serve - Edit
I had a taiyaki with red bean paste, which was lovely. I wish they had more decadent vegan options, like plant based nutella. I also had the vegan soft serve, the taste was good, but I was disappointed with the texture, it was kind of watery. The staff was helpful with explaining which options were vegan.

The portion size is quite small and not really filling, so only eat there of youre not looking fo a full meal.
The waffle was freshly made and the filling was good. It wasnt particular, but still tasty. Its worth a stop of youre in Düsseldorf.

Das Personal hat mir die veganen Optionen erklärt und mich sogar vorab von einer Eissorte kosten lassen. Das violette Softeis in der schwarzen Waffel (mit Kohle gefärbt) in der Sorte „Ube“ war eine Neues Geschmackserlebnis. Den süßen Waffel-Fisch hatte ich mit einer Lotus-Creme-Füllung, sehr mächtig aber absolut himmlisch. Die Fische sind außen kross und innen weich.
