Moroccan vegan friendly - Edit
Quite a discovery and very happy to find a vegan friendly restaurant in Morocco.
Read moreVegan and gluten-free dishes are well labelled (they also have a separate menu) and they are plenty. I had the veganoo (vegetabel with avocado and Moroccan bread), it was well presented and delicious. Very recommended. It's located by a main square, just in front of the mosque.

Heerlijke veganoo - Edit

Good/expensive/possibility your order won’t come out vegan - Edit
I had the vegan pastilla which was nice and quite big. The next day I was unwell and had my husband order takeaway. He ordered the vegan pasta alpisto off the menu and then ask if they would do a vegan falafel ‘taco’ (a lot of restaurants offer these, they’re kind of like a toasted wrap). There was some confusion around the vegan pasta alpisto - they said they didn’t have any but they could do the falafel taco, then they came back out and said they could do the pasta. When my husband got home and we looked at the pasta it was covered in cheese. On the receipt it was just labelled a spaghetti al pesto so I think they have forgotten to make it vegan (it also cost 95 MAD - very expensive for spaghetti with a little pesto and cheese through it). I ate the falafel taco but something in it tasted a little unusual so I think there may have actually been cheese and/or butter in it. Some of the staff speak very good English and some do not, so may just have to try and communicate with the English speaking staff to make sure what you are ordering will come out vegan.

Muy rico - Edit
Las cantidades y el sabor son muy buenos. El único aspecto negativo, que al mismo tiempo es gracioso, es la cantidad de gatos que entran y salen del lugar

Good food, nice place but expensive - Edit
The food is good but nothing to write home about. Place is very nice overlooking the square. It is however very expensive for Morocco.

Great food - Edit
We had a vegan pastilla and a plate called "Veganoo", which contained a mix of typical Moroccan sides, all vegan. The next day we came back and had the arrabiata pasta without cheese, which was great. Prices are maybe a bit high for the portion size.

Nice 💙 views from the upper floor! Great mint lemonade, superb olives and bread to start with! Salade Marocaine was just good, Bissara soup had no taste at all.

Absolutely not worth the money - extremely bland food - Edit
Maybe I was just unlucky, but my vegan panini had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. The panini had a little bit of hummus inside which had zero seasoning, and the falafel inside was also super plain. Just do yourself a favour and go to Hamsa which is right next door!

A Vegan Oasis in Chefchaouen - Edit
We had the pleasure of dining at Bilmos in Chefchaouen twice during our visit to Morocco, and it was an incredible experience both times. As a vegan, finding suitable options can be challenging, but Bilmos exceeded our expectations. The Pastilla and vegan soup ( baissara ) was not only flavorful but also showcased the rich culinary diversity of Morocco in a plant-based way. The big smoothie of the day was a refreshing delight. The service was impressively fast, and the staff ensured we had a delightful dining experience. If you're in Chefchaouen and craving delicious vegan food, Bilmos is a must-visit. Grateful for this gem in Morocco

Delish! - Edit
It was my first stop after reading the reviews and was in heaven! It's the best meal I've had in Morocco so far, but it's going to take some beating. Staff super helpful and greeted me with their vegan menu only - I must have a vegan vibe! I'm reluctant to eat elsewhere whilst in Chefchaouen, but I should give the other places a try...

2nd time - we came back to this wonderful place. We just love the food, the vibe, the people, all is wonderful! We have so much pleasure at eating there, that we definitely needed to come back, and, just like the first time, we were very well welcomed. The energy and joy of the staff is contagious! If you are in Chefchaouen, you need to go to Bilmos!

Delicious local food - Edit
There are not many vegan options in this town, so we expected a bland and overpriced tajine at best, but Bilmos really does a great job of serving up flavorful and delicious local specialties made vegan. We tried their Tajine (though it has a different name in the menu), pastilla (thin pastry filled with a mix of vegetables), and falafel with hummus.
Read moreEverything is was quite tasty. The tajine was our favorite due to the unique mix of veggies and very lovely spicing. The falafel would follow because it was wonderful flavor-wise and did not feel at all greasy. Finally, the pastilla was really lovely as well, but the veggies inside were not very seasoned, so it was the least exciting of the dishes we tried, though still something I would be happy to eat again.
Overall, I definitely would recommend the place and their food. Prices are also quite reasonable and they take cards.
Pros: Tasty food, Local options made vegan , Separate vegan menu
Cons: Uncomfortable sitting , Lots of flies and bees around

The food was good. Nothing really special. The tajine, for me, was a bit overcooked. My wife had toast advocado and that was super. My kid had vegan panini, that was was oke.

Best tajine in Marocco - Edit
I've had a lot of veggie tajines while in Marocco and this one honestly outdoes all the rest by far.
Read moreFriendly staff. I couldn't finish my meal so asked to take it away and they packed it all up for me in a foil dish to take home.
Tajine and orange juice came to 85dh so this is about mid-range for Chefchaouen but I think it is worth this.
The restaurant have a separate vegan menu with several options on it.
Pros: Separate vegan menu, Friendly, accommodating staff

Extremely exotic flavors and generous portions including avocado. Best Tagine we had in Morocco. Until then, we hadn’t been able to really feel into the flavors of Morocco because most were used in meat dishes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
