Lovely restaurant, few but decent non-vegan

Good price for a lovely restaurant. Hippy salad tasted good!

Not a place I’d recommend for vegans

Found an option, not very filling and somewhat expensive. Also gets quite busy

Not terrible but not recommendable

Greasy and no value for the money

From all vegan Full English Breakfast it was one of my least favourite ones. The scrambled "ogg" had a terrible texture, was greasy and tasteless and so was the sausage and the mushrooms. The potatoes were nice and crispy though. They were out of "bacon", so I don't know if this would have made it better. Can't recommend it, sorry.

Great option for mixed group

Bill’s is a great option for a group with mixed dietary needs, it is also very convenient with multiple locations and we had no waits. They have 3 main vegan dishes clearly marked on the menu (shawarma, hippy bowl, and dirty burger). Dishes are tasty 👍

Service can be spotty: forgetting to bring water, forgetting to add vegan bacon to burger and bringing it later on the side.

Awesome Shawarma

Had a great shawarma plate and a nice salted caramel/chocolate cake with coconut ice cream

Pros: Solid amount of vegan dishes, Very good quality, Worth the price

Cons: Could have more than one dessert

Making the effort to attract the vegan community

Bill’s makes an effort to provide vegan food in its chain restaurants. The choice isn’t massive but it’s better than most chains.

Menu - Out of the 4 ‘Table Sharing’ options, 2 were vegan and 2 veggie. Of the 10 ‘Starters’, 3 were vegan. Separate from the 12 carnivorous main courses on offer, there was a ‘Salad and Plant-Based’ section, with 6 options, of which 3 were vegan. The ‘Sides’ doesn’t indicate what is vegan but it’s likely to be 5 of the 6 options.

The ‘vegan chimichurri roasted beetroot’ with flatbread, hummus, date molasses and olive oil was lovely. The bread was warm, the hummus chilled, the mint and beetroot somewhere in between, contrasting the flavour and temperature.

The ‘Dirty Vegan Burger’ was a vegan pattie, on a lettuce and vegan mayo base, topped with tomato, vegan cheese and truffle hot sauce, contained in a warm brioche bun. It came with a portion of red onion and rosemary salted fries. It was big, tasty and what was expected of a dirty burger.

Pros: Enough vegan options not to be disappointed

Cons: Not cheap for what you get
