Very bad

Bill's seems to have shrunk it's menu as there are now only two vegan options, a burger or a mushroom schwarma. Even the veggie options weren't great but having exhausted all other local options I went for the mac and cheese and my husband for the salad bowl and we both had the chilli popper fries. They came back and informed us they had run out of the grains to put in the salad bowl. The mac and cheese tasted dry, like it was just macaroni with some melted cheese - there was no sauce evident. The fries were soggy and cold, like they had been standing around for a while. The 'chili poppers' were 'deconstructed', just some vegan cream cheese sprinkled with chopped jalapenos. I used to like Bill's so maybe it's just this location or maybe it's the general enshittification of everything but this was far from good.

Cons: Menu choices, Taste, Noise

Breakfast @Bill's

We visited Bill's twice for breakfast during our stay and enjoyed both occasions.

We loved the apple, maple and cinnamon porridge, which was wholesome and delicious, whilst the plant plate was very tasty too although neither of us were very keen on the scrambled OGGS.

As it was the summer holidays, we were also able to take advantage of the kids eat for free offer, with our son loving his beans on toast and his activity sheet, which was a nice touch from the friendly staff.

Terrible breakfast

Went to bills for a family breakfast last week. Honestly one of my worst vegan experiences. I messaged them beforehand as the vegan options looked pathetic and asking if there was any hidden menu, apparently not. As we were with a mixed group we could not change.

When came to place our order I did ask if I could have the burger (it was 10:40 even though not normally served until 11:30) which I was told no, I challenged this and she just said no they don’t do that, didn’t even bother to ask or check with the kitchen.

Our breakfast arrived at 11:20 and it was honestly horrible. The tomatoes were completely undercooked, and it was 2 pieces of toast one with hummus that was ok and one with avo that was lumpy and tasteless. In contrast the mushrooms were way over cooked and dry.

Do not go here for breakfast.

Cons: Terrible options, Average service, Rank food

Lovely vegan breakfast

On the eat out help out scheme. Quite a few options for vegans and veggies. If it wasn’t on the scheme it would have been bit expensive.

Pros: Had a nice breakfast and shake
