The food tastes like it was made from a ready mix. Even the rice had that weird dusty smell to it. Very disappointing for the price. We had dal makhani and shahi paneer.

Awesome find in the T3 food court - Edit
We happened to come across the signs to Bikanerwala at T3 Changi airport. It is based on the food court level 3. A small lift is available but difficult to find.

Youll find this place on Level 4 of T3. Good range of North and South Indian food including thalis (where you can get smaller amounts of multiple items. I found the food spicy though flavoursome. Nice setting. Many dishes contain coriander which I cannot stand - note for anyone else in the same boat!

I prefer Kaveri but if you're in terminal 1 and looking for Indian food, this is a decent option. I was told they don't use butter, ghee, or yogurt in anything.
