Hearty Flavors Vegan Opt. - Edit
Dropped in here knowing that most burrito joints can make burritos into a vegan-friendly meal.
Read moreWe got the standard burrito with black beans, vegan cheese, hold the sour cream. Then we added the buffalo cauliflower! What? We’ve never had that in a burrito! It’s was very flavorsome and the cauliflower added a nice l’dente to the meal.
Pros: Atmosphere , Clean, Good sized burritos
Cons: None

Solid local spot - Edit
I go to Big wave probably once a week! Love the burrito with the Buffalo Cauliflower. Just make sure you check your food beforehand! I had only one mistake where they gave me the wrong burrito with real chicken in it. Not bad though for going more than 20 times 😂

A New Tradition - Edit
Family returned to Cape May after seven years. We did all our usual, but swapped our last meal together for somewhere that satisfied my new eating style. This joint was tasty, customizable, mid-range price, and just a short walk from the end of the Washington Street Mall. We’re adding it to our list of Cape May traditions! When I go again, I’ll ask for just a tad less vegan cheese, if you can believe it!

We weren’t mad at this not being a sit-down, waited-on restaurant (although the person that took my order did bring out my order to me!) Families should be aware that the space fills up quickly around lunch! Service was speedy, all the same.
Pros: Satisfied the non-veg folk, Variety of menu-bfast, lunch, snack, early dinner, Vegan options built in and offered by staff
Cons: Mid-range price. $80-ish for four people, Order at window, rather than with waiters , Neither of the above are true cons, just facts

Yummy Cauliflower - Edit
The cauliflower and vegan sauce was delicious. I would omit the cheese next time. I THINK it’s Daiya. The rice and beans were dry and I was disappointed with the salsa. Pricey. Would not return but it was good on a whim.

Saturday Night highlight - Edit
A tasty burrito with vegan buffalo spiced cauliflower, black beans, and vegan cheese was delightful. Their homemade salsa is worth the party size. My partner had a steak burrito and we ate the whole container of salsa with the chips. Worthy of a second visit or more.

Great burritos! - Edit
I love the burritos here - I’ve tried the Buffalo cauliflower and the newer grilled vegetable filling, both with vegan cheese, and they were great. Just plan ahead when you go - they don’t always answer their phones if you want to order in advance, and service can be slow but I’d say it’s worth it!

Really yummy! - Edit
This is a great vegan food option in Cape May. I got the bowl with vegan cheese and buffalo cauliflower. The employees didn’t wear their masks properly during covid, but it was an overall really yummy option.

Super good - Edit
Order at the counter and your order is delivered to your table. A simple menu of tacos, burritos and bowls plus a few sides, the taste is excellent. The staff are knowledgeable (vegan vs. vegetarian) and flexible. I had the Buffalo cauliflower tacos with a side of rice, beans and guacamole. Scrumptious and reasonably priced.

Good food - Edit
Ordered the buffalo cauliflower bowl and was not disappointed. You can make it into a burrito or tacos. Not easy to find vegan in Cape May and this was a nice place for a quick meal.
