Was served meat

I asked for the cow burger to be replaced with a black bean burger, and was served a black bean burger with brisket on top. Only figured it out after my first bite. I suppose it’s my bad because I didn’t ask for them to take the brisket off, just to swap the burgers.

Scratches a burger itch

Big burger spot now features the impossible burger along with a decent black bean burger. It isn’t “health food” but it is mighty tasty . They also have a wide selection of fries.

Pros: More than one veggie option for sandwiches, Great staff

Cons: It is a burger joint so the strict may not enjoy

A decent start for a burger place

We went to eat here to test the waters, having been here previously as meat-eaters we knew there were meatless options with additional options for toppings and sides (fries). We ordered an impossible burger and the south of the border burger - hold the cheese - with a double stack of the black bean patties. Our toppings consisted of the included salsa, jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, all on sourdough bread. For the South of the Border burger, the salsa and bean patties were both flavorful, however the salsa was clearly straight from the fridge and the cold threw off the presentation of the otherwise warm burger. I was also very disappointed by the presence of cheese on my requested cheese-free burger - they do not currently have any vegan cheese - and the sourdough is battered in butter before toasting, so ask for butter-free! Beyond the aforementioned issues, the food was still tasty, with hurdles to be avoided if we were to return to avoid potential vegan issues.

Pros: Inexpensive, Good options for toppings

Cons: Sourdough is buttered for toasting, No cheese alternatives
