Serves meat, vegan options available. Vegan options are vegan burger, sweet potato quinoa cakes, and on the brunch menu vegan blueberry pancakes. Removed June 2020 - no longer serving any vegan dishes.
After many years vacationing in the Ft Myers area and eating a LOT of salad during those years, we decided to drive to Cape Coral based on reviews here. The beer was decent and the atmosphere was good. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about vegan options on the menu which was great. My husband had the impossible burger which was delicious and I had the sweet potato quinoa cakes which are vegan but aren’t marked that in the menu which was confusing-my cakes were decent but on the flavorless side. Everything that “looked” vegan on menu was- fried pickles, fried cauliflower, pretzels, non creamy dressing (house citrus with a little kick was delicious), potato wedges, guacamole, etc. overall everyone in my vegan family had something different and left satisfied.
UPDATE- came back a year later... still with decent quinoa cakes (still under seasoned) but no vegan bun for the impossible burger (I never understand that). Also their big potato wedges are just regular fries now. 3 of 4 of us just chose to have FFs and salads :(
"Vegan" burger's bun was covered in butter. No other vegan options on the menu. Over-priced food, long wait for your meal. Family ordered fish and chips - soaked in grease. French fries were cold. Tried this place once - that's it for us.
Tonight I ordered the impossible burger. While the waitress was friendly and attentive, it was clear this brewery has very little desire to really serve plant based food. As listed on the menu, the impossible burger is served on a Brioche bun made with Egg. When I asked more questions, they did offer me a beet based bun which is vegan. It was different bud good.
I visit family in the area at least once a month. It's awesome to see more and more vegan options available. Big Blue Brewing offers the Impossible Burger along with a couple other options. Def check it out.
They have recently got the impossible burger, which is very nice. They have two veggie dishes on the menu and I changed the veggie burger to the impossible one and it was very delicious. Their beers are also amazing and the place is big and lively. Possible to sit outside
