Can't beat Beet - Edit
Great funky & comfortable place with lots of interesting decorations. Good food mostly based on wraps & toasties but can ask for no bread, if need be. The dahl is sold out quickly so have an early lunch if you want this popular dish as we missed out.
Wide range of drinks.
Friendly staff.
Pros: Good fresh food, Great value, Lots of drink options

Big Beet - Edit
This the only vegan/ veg eatery in Katoomba. Was great, had a vegan burrito served in a wrap with brown rice, chilli, onions, corn niblets, red beans and baby spinach served with chilli jam condiment, hommous and diced tomatoes. $12:50. They have a great juice selection settled on a beetroot, pear, apple, carrot, celery and ginger. $6:50. They also have various chai teas
There are a selection of cookies and vegan treats. Got the Happy Cow sticker.
Pros: Has many Vegan, gluten free options, Large restaurant well airy great ambiance, Great service and staff.
Cons: Not 100% vegan

Highly Recommend ... - Edit
The best vegetarian and vegan toasties and burritos....and the salad wrap is another favourite too. I didn't think is like it but now often have a golden latte snd also recommend banana bomber smoothie - has tahini in it - my daughter loves it :)
Cons: most dishes contain bread although gluten free is

best vegan toastie - Edit
I had the tastiest vegan toastie here - a sort of purée of aubergine, zucchini, olives and spinach. And also a great soya iced latte! Well worth the visit!

Excellent products with a good vegan range - Edit
Great little cafe just at the top of Katoomba street. Has a good vegan range, with some vegan turkish bread sandwiches which are really good, as well burritos, salad bowls etc. Price is around $8-$15 for lunch.
They also have great range of drinks. Notably iced coffees with soy ice cream and iced chai also with soy ice cream and this amazing frozen stuff.
Closed Sundays.
Pros: Great iced drinks range, Excellent turkish bread sandwiches, Location convenient to railway station
Cons: Not much seating and sometimes crowded, Can be a wait when busy

delicious - Edit
This is such a gem, predominantly a vegetarian cafe but has a large selection of vegan choices for both a substantial lunch or a snack. With the added bonus that the coffee was well made, they offer both soy or almond milk for the vegans.
Pros: variety, quality, yummy
