So vegan and so tasty

I visited many Loving Hut chain restaurants over the world including Japan, Korea and this time Vietnam. So so cheap and amazing experience. If you are vegan and want to support veganism and community, def go visit local Loving Hut chain restaurant. Food was so good as well!!!

Good value for money

I wanted to get the bang xeo but they were out so I opted for the beef soup and they were out 😂 there were so many nice options on the menu though that it was easy to find another great alternative and I went for the sweet and sour soup. Delicious, huge, and great value for money. I would have liked if it'd had some tofu or some source of protein but taste was on point (for only 30 or 40k). My partner had a thick noodles soup and that was also delicious (and had some mock meat I believe).

Pros: Lots of options , Great value for money

Cons: Not all items may be available

Great cheap local food, but not 100% vegan.

First, there are two products on the shelves ("non-dairy” creamer, and instant coconut cream.... items that are always suspect) that contain sodium caseinate. Therefore this isn't a 100% vegan store and restaurant. It's the first non-vegan Loving Hut I've ever seen in the world. It should be treated as a usual chay restaurant where the food is usually vegan but the drinks and products maybe contain cow milk.

Second, I can't believe the people leaving negative reviews of this place. Loving Huts all over the world range from modern fine dining to traditional local style. This is the latter. If you want fine dining there are more expensive places you can go in the tourist areas.

The food is cheap, fast, and the vibe is typical of any local Vietnamese restaurant. I had the phở (20k), and the cucumber salad (35k). Both we're great and full of mock meat. They had some products for sale, but the selection was a little disappointing compared to other Loving Huts. I got some sauce and some cookies.

Pros: Cheap local dishes, Fast

Cons: Typical local level of cleanliness, Non-vegan products

Simple food

This place is more like a local Chay(veg) restaurant, not the loving hut I expected. Which is great.
1$ meals and lovely staff. No one spoke English, but it was even more charming.

Pros: Friendly , Local , Budget

Very good food in a nice restaurant

A bit shocked at recent reviews here being so negative. I'm very happy with the restaurant, the food and the service. Had 4 dishes here and all were delicious. Only reason I'm not giving it 5* here is that keeping the door to the main road always open and the tv on doesn't make the most relaxed ambiance.

Pros: Delicious. Cheap. Quick service

Cons: on main road

Bad and stale food both the times

This place is not what its name tells. Definitely not loving. The food we ordered was very popular and common. Nothing rare or out of box. Still the food was bad, stale and in my opinion not edible. I left my soup eating almost half. The servers/owners play tv local movie in loud volume and watched it both the times we went. No ambience for customers to enjoy the food. There are so many similar priced much better place in Da Nang.

Pros: Extremely cheap

Cons: Cold. Below averagw food.

Old and tasteless food

Three of us went here for lunch. Order the most common Vietnamese food. But it did not taste fresh, rather the veggies in it looked bad. We did not finish our food, also the tourists in the other table. Probably one of the worst place I visited from happy cow. There are so many good vegan places in Da nang.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Bad food

Non dairy creamer on shelf not vegan!

They need to take their non dairy creamer off the shelves as it’s not vegan! Which also makes me worry if other things may not be...I tried to google it in store, nothing came up & I was assured everything was vegan but when I went to use it I saw it had sodium caseinate in it which is whey/milk powder so NOT VEGAN!

Pros: Lovely staff, They called us a taxi, Cheap

Cons: Bought their non dairy creamer & its not vegan!!, Not normal Loving Hut quality & variety., No atmosphere for visitors dinning. Needs music.

The food was good enough with this price. Have cơm suất, pho, hu tieu, banh canh (types of noodle) and sometimes traditional cakes available.

tasty, cheap and nice

On our tour from Hoi An to the marble mountains we made a little stop at Loving Hut. From there we went to the My Son Sanctuary. Our lunch was very nice there. We had a beef noodle soup and rice with vegetables. Both was tasty and the staff was friendly. We paid 36k D together, so it's very cheap!

Pros: vegan, tasty, cheap

Scary!

I have to admit that I didn't actually eat here but I can confirm that the map is correct. It looked very uninviting in there and a quick peek around just really put me off. It looked very basic and run-down. No English spoken. I only wanted to know what time they were open so I could have planned to go back later but he couldn't tell me so I didn't.

Clean, delicious, very lovely

This Loving Hut is one of the top vegan restaurants in Da Nang. They have a well structured menu and low prices. The food was prepared fast and one can see into the kitchen. It is much cleaner than many others in the region. They also have a lot of vegan products (maybe the most in middle Vietnam) and instant noodles in their included store. You can be 100% sure that everything is vegan. Highly recommend this place :)
The tree in front of the restaurant grew very big and the sign is hidden behind it.

Excellent food, friendly service.

While I agree with a previous review about the location being noisy and the restaurant not super clean, my family and I had a wonderful experience. The people running the restaurant were very friendly and inviting, and enjoyed goofing around with my five year old daughter. We ordered a few dishes, including beef noodle soup and spring rolls, and were pleased with all. The complimentary tea is a nice touch. Since it's not in a pedestrian-friendly location, I would recommend checking out Loving Hut by taxi or motorbike. It was raining when we left and the owner called us a taxi. Highly recommended.

Pros: Food, Friendly owners, Price

Cons: Location (a bit busy and noisy)

Keep coming back !

The dishes here are cheap, yet not savage at all. The whole process of cleaning and cooking is carried out in front of the guests, so that we are able to know the high hygiene of this restaurant. My Quang, banh xeo and com chay seems to be the most popular dishes, as they do not give the vibe of vegetarian food. People can also choose among kinds of sauce, like fish sauce, soy sauce or chao.

Good food

Good food, but dirty inside. I am not that picky, but this place was not very clean! Located on a busy road, so it was hard for me to ride my bike there. Enjoyed the noodle soup and tried one of the coconut cakes they have for sale. Would go again, but hope they clean a little (actually a lot) : )

Pros: vegan, taste, small vegan cakes for sale

Cons: dirty, busy road for biking

Low-cost filling food!

We had a huge meal at the Loving Hut. Vegan Pho is only 15k dong and other mains 25k dong.
Fried noodles, spring rolls and tofu parcels were all good.
A few dishes and drinks weren't available but maybe sold out during the day.
It is a basic looking cafe used by local people, not aimed at tourists. Staff don't speak much English but want to help and the menu has English subtitles and photos.

Pros: all vegan!

Cheap and tasty

While the interior is certainly modest, the food is not. We ate lots of great dishes here, all very tasty. If you have the chance, try their chilled coconut drink.

Pros: Inexpensive, Great staff

Cons: Far from the center

Make sure you go early

Important to note, it seems the restaurant closes at 7:30pm not 10pm. None of the staff speak English so it was hard to confirm if that's every night or just when we went (Sunday). We arrived at 7:35pm and although they were obviously packing up and no one else was in the restaurant they still served us. However, we could only choose from a few items on the menu. The noodle soup we had was good, but the rice & vege dish wasn't. I think that's because we were so late and they only had limited items to give us and they weren't hot anymore or particularly fresh. We're going to go again earlier so we can try some of the other menu items!

Edit: we went back at lunch and it was much better! Could choose from anything on the menu. We ordered a few different things and it was a tasty meal.

Nice Staff, Nice Meal

From this Loving Hut's basic menu, one can easily arrange a delicious and filling meal at very low cost. Crispy tofu pancakes cost 25,000 VND in December, 2013, and a bowl of "beef" pho cost only 15,000 VND. The staff doesn't speak much English, but they're very understanding and helpful, freshening your complimentary pitcher of tea without prompting. The street is a little noisy out front, but that doesn't detract much from the pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.

Pros: good value, friendly staff, tasty food

Cons: somewhat noisy

friendly, cheap & delicious!

We went there twice and tried half of the menu. All was very good and came in sufficient portions. We particularly liked their Pho (noodle soup) and the crispy noodles with stir fried vegetables. Though the staff doesn't speak English they were very friendly and always tried to understand us.

It's very close to Hoa's place which makes it a good and cheap option for veg*s staying there.

Pros: cheap, delicious food & free (cold) tea, sufficient portions
