Bidges & Sons is a fashion store, which incorporates a vegan fast food restaurant. "The Fried Club", a vegan cocktail bar (summer months only), and a vegan bakery and cake section. The Fried Club offers a vegan junk food menu with Beyond burgers, chickn nuggets, salads, mac n' cheese balls, and loaded fries with different options of toppings such as Greek style, flying dutchman (with sweet potatoes), or chili and guacamole. The dessert and bakery case at the end of the store features a daily changing selection of vegan cakes and sweets. In the summer months, the coktail bar provides vegan cocktails and other beverages. Guests can sit in the lounge or on the terrace, which has view over the Reeperbahn. Reported closed January 2024.

Abgesehen von der fehlenden gedruckten Speisekarte, war der Besuch gut. Ich war auf der Rooftop-Bar. Dort ist die Atmosphäre schön.

We visited from the UK. Server spoke fantastic English.
Read moreTo view the menu, you need to scan the QR code. However, our phones would not connect (don’t know if it was a bad signal or the fact our phones were foreign).
We saw two wifi connections available, but when asked for the password to connect, was told No. so the server had to give us the menu on her own phone. There was no English menu, so she had to translate for us.
We had the Hawaii burger and Hawaii loaded fries - chips topped with facon, pineapple and the ‘house sauce’, which was delicious. I was told it came with a stack of onion rings but these never materialised.
We had a diet cola each - bottled, artisanal.
Cost around €30 total for 2 drinks and 2 mains.
The toilets in the basement are reminiscent of a sex dungeon - prison bars !
Nice atmosphere, clean and didn’t need to book. Good location.

Eher Touristisch als stimmungsvoll, Essen aber ok! - Edit
Wir hatten die Snickerstorte und einmal loaded fries mit chicken. Beides sehr lecker, aber kaum Chicken. Generell eher ein Ort zum abgefertigt werden, statt um eine schöne Zeit zu haben. Ist halt auch auf der Reeperbahn und sehr touristisch mit inkludiertem Merchandise-Store.

Eigentlich gut, aber Essen war kalt - Edit
Currywurst mit Pommes war eigentlich ganz lecker, aber eben auch kalt. Nicht mal wirklich lauwarm. Loaded Fries "Barbarian Bavarian", prinzipiell lecker, aber kalt. Irgendwie überall zu viel Salat (auch auf dem Burger), der geschmacklich nicht viel beiträgt und wie "Füllmasse" wirkt. Das ist aber sicher etwas, über das sich manche freuen, daher noch 3 Sterne. Ich persönlich hätte mich über eine etwas größere Wurst und etwas mehr Pommes gefreut. "Mehr Wurst" hätte es gegen Aufpreis gegeben. Kann man machen, wenn man in der Nähe ist. "Kalt" ist das Essen keine Offenbarung. Aber vielleicht hatten wir ja nur pech? Ich lasse Essen nicht gerne zurückgehen, daher gegessen. Nächstes mal würde ich mir das überlegen. Ist ja nicht ganz billig.

If you're craving vegan fast food - Edit
If you're craving american fast food, bidges & sons is the place to go! The place offers indoor seating and has also a rooftop terrace. I don't like the atmosphere indoor with the clothing store and seating area next to each other - but that's just my personal opinion. The staff however is really friendly and the food & drinks are delicious - they also have great dessert (try the Snickers cake! 😋)

Laden sollte um 14 Uhr öffnen, wir haben bis 14:10 vor vergitterter Tür gewartet, bis mal ein Mitarbeiter zu uns kam, dieser sah extrem ungepflegt aus und war absolut unfreundlich, hat uns völlig ohne Entschuldigung mitgeteilt, dass man jetzt nicht öffnen würde, das könne noch so 45 Minuten dauern.

Read moreWe had the Vish'n'Chips, the Schnitzel and a burger, everything was delicious. We shared the Snickers cake and it was amazing and truly tasted like Snickers. We also had a few drinks and their homemade lemonade. Yum.
The service was great, super friendly and quick. We will definitely return.

I had a bacon and asparagus burger which was amazing, definitely in the top 3 of burgers I ever had. My girlfriend had fries, which were great too. If you think about drinking a homemade lemonade I totally recommend the orange ginger rosemary one!
