Great range of options - Edit
I’m not used to having options. When we visited there was a vegan sausage roll, vegan ‘steak’ pasty, vegan ‘fish’ and chips and peas and a chickpea curry. There might have been more but I very quickly went for the curry, which was tasty and came with poppadum and mango chutney. For fresh cakes the vegan selection was brownie, tiffin and st Clement’s cake. Big drinks menu, choice of plant milks and even vegan milkshakes.

Worth a visit - Edit
We have visited the gardens many times but never used the restaurant until this visit. We were pleasantly surprised with the options that were available- dairy free milk, a whole menu of milkshakes, smoothies. The cakes on display included a number of vegan options and there was a separate board displaying the lunch menu. We only had a smoothie, coffee and cake this time, whilst sitting outside with a view of the gardens. But next time, we will definitely be having lunch there.
