Unfortunately disappointing - Edit

Read moreI ordered the only vegan item on the menu and was told I couldn’t order it spicy as the vegan meal had to be ordered at the lowest spice level. My friend ordered the classic noodles with meat.
I couldn’t finish mine as they were so sweet and lacked any other flavour. The sauce was incredibly sweet and oily. The eggplant didn’t help as it just melted down to make a thick, sweet sludgy sauce. The noodles were occasionally so thick the texture was not ideal and they were a far cry from the hand pulled noodles I’ve had at biang biang places in other countries.
I think our conclusion was the noodles have been heavily adapted for local taste buds. They didn’t taste like what I was used to and the other times I’ve been I’ve walked away finding it not good but not bad. Unfortunately last time I went they were worse. Maybe you would enjoy this restaurant more if you haven’t had Biang biang noodles elsewhere.
I feel like I usually find restaurants okay at minimum and this is the first time in years I haven’t finished something due to not liking it.
Pros: Good ambiance, Service is decent, Generous portion sizes
Cons: Food wasn’t great, Price was a bit expensive

Pedí sus noodles veganos por UberEats, me gustaron pero tampoco son los mejores noodles que haya probado en mi vida y el precio me pareció un pelín excesivo.
