Bi-Bu offers a lot of delicious fast foods like burgers, sandwiches and wraps. I had the delicious Orient Sandwich which was rich of vegetables, falafels and sauce😄

We had the BratVurst im Brötchen, small fries with joppie sauce and the No chicken wrap. It was truly amazing and delicious! But I can only give you guys 3 stars, because the no chicken wrap wasn't closed at the bottom - so the wrap "exploded" at some point. And the BratVurst IM BRÖTCHEN - then why do you serve it with Turkish bread instead of a Brötchen?! Please change that and you're one of the Best vegan spots in NRW!

I love to go to the BiBu for lunch. It has cheap meals like the oriental sandwich 🥙 for 6,50€ and some upgrades like the beyond meat burger for 9,80€ if you‘re craving for something nastier.

This is our go-to street food place in Bonn. It's always tasty, fresh, and filling.

Depending on the staff on duty, you might get a bit too much mayonnaise. So if you don't like it too greasy, tell them ahead to go easy on the sauce, and you'll be fine.
They have some info brochures about veganism and vegan activism on their truck, this gets them extra points. They mean it what they do.

If you're exploring Bonn's Altstadt, Bi-Bu is a convenient and 100% vegan option. Head to the Marktplatz and look for their truck somewhere in the middle. I had the Bavarian style Wurst, which was one of the best vegan sausages I've had from a taste and texture perspective. My non-vegan husband had the vegan hamburger and he thought it was very good. Lots of other options.

Recommendation for vegans - Edit
Personally, I was very impressed not only by the variety of options but also by their taste. Non-vegan but open-minded friends weren’t though, I guess they have a different standard as they can compare to other shops more easily. Conclusion out of that: I’ll bring vegan friends only from now on😉Staff is very nice and the location is convenient. The Bibu is family-owned and they gave an excellent podcast interview to a friend of mine which gave me an even better impression.

My sister loves this place and maybe I just got a bad example, but I really wasn’t too impressed. The gyros wrap had way too much oily sauce and barely any salad in it so that I didn’t even want to finish it. The “gyros” was also rather oily and seemed rather like extruded soy than seitan? Definitely had better ones before!

Easy to find on the main market square. Nice to see that many of the other trucks around also have vegan options. We still went for the fully vegan one, of course. We tried the beev burger and the falafel wrap. The burger was nice but the wrap was great. Would eat here again.

I actually walked past a place serving currywurst and thought, I remember trying that years ago but it's meat so I won't touch it, shame as it is. Then I came onto Marktplatz and stumbled on this van. It was a bona fide deus ex machina. Anyway I had a currywurst and it was spot on. He asked if I wanted it spicy, which of course I did, and I think the German idea of "more spice" is "greater quantity of mild spice" rather than "equal amount of hotter spice" because it was like ketchup with curry powder on top. I said no to chips ("pommes") and yes to bread. It cost €4 which is a little bit steep but if you rarely have it you don't mind so much. Staff were very down to earth and spoke enough English to compensate for my frankly emaciated German. Recommended for tourists.
