Yummy Indian snacks

Tasty and well priced Indian street food. The atmosphere is fairly lacking, and you walk through a strange office to the loo, but it's great for a quick and tasty bite or take out.

Delicious Indian street food

What a gem! Very happy I had time to try the food here, it was lovely. Ask for the separate vegan menu.
I took the food with me and the pani puri comes in separate containers and you assemble it yourself so it doesn’t go soft.
I also had bhel puri, chivda, kachori dal and samosa. Everything tasted so good! Great chutneys! I was so full after and super satisfied.

Pros: Lots of choice , Nice selection of chivda and sev already made, Nice presentation

Never disappoints

Love this place, brilliant Indian street food, plenty of vegan options, proper spicy, great value and really tasty… never disappoints, plus they sell a load of Indian sweet and savoury snacks to take away… the fact half the local Asian population seems to eat in there is a great sign

Favourite place in Reading.

This place is great for Indian street food. All vegetarian with quite a few decent vegan options. Thoroughly recommend the Mogo hoho.

Pros: Tasty, All vegetarian with vegan options , Good for sharing

Cons: Difficult to order over the phone when busy

Eye/belly disjuncture

Whenever I eat here, I always fancy more things on the menu than I can actually eat. So, it's a good idea to take two or three friends, and share as much as possible. If you can't finish it all (unlikely) they're happy to give you doggie bags.

Delicious

Have been to BPH quite a few times. The food is very tasty, service is great and we can buy a beer from the bar in the hotel and bring it through. Always end up bringing some of their takeaway snack home too.

Pros: A few Vegan dishes, Fast service and snacks available to take home, Very tasty

Cons: More Vegan dishes please

Amazing

I love Indian food and especially Southern Indian food and this place was amongst the best that I have ever visited of that kind. It was a little tucked away off the main street. You're meant to find a table, work out what you want and then go up to the counter to order.. I wish that I had seen the review talking about the vegan menu because I was trying to ask the woman taking the orders about which of the dishes were vegan and she was impatient and not very helpful (she initially said that everything was vegan then that was patently not true). We ordered a number of dishes: The bhel poori was exceptional (a delicious combination of flavours), the chill mushrooms had a real kick and the only slightly disappointing one was a noodle dish that was relatively nondescript..

Pros: Really delicious food, Fast service

Cons: Service a little surly, Hard to find

Recommended

This place does Indian street food which is really nice. We had between 2: Bhel Puri, Chilli Mushrooms, Samosas, Mogo Chips, Kachori Dal, Curried Noodles, it was about £25 in total, which I would say was good value for the amount of food we had. They have a vegan menu at the counter if you ask for it, it points out all the vegan options, though from the looks of it several dishes on the main menu might be veganable with a few small amendments (eg no yogurt).

Would recommend for a nice and unique (by normal english standards) food experience.

Pros: Inexpensive, Nice and unique food
